The document discusses reaching the Hispanic market in the United States. It notes that the Hispanic population is growing rapidly and will represent nearly a quarter of the total US population by 2050. Currently, Hispanics have a younger demographic profile than the general population and a total buying power of over $1 trillion dollars annually, making the Hispanic economy the 9th largest in the world. However, to effectively reach the Hispanic market requires understanding its complexities, as Hispanics are not a monolithic group. The document provides several examples of companies that have successfully marketed to Hispanics and concludes that an effective strategy focuses on specific Hispanic consumer insights and needs rather than stereotypes.
The document discusses health challenges and strategies for healthcare management in the Basque Country. It faces issues like an aging population, rising costs, and decreasing tax revenue. A comprehensive strategy was developed with 5 pillars and strategic projects like integrated electronic health records, e-prescriptions, population intervention plans, and telemonitoring. Preliminary results show benefits like fewer hospital admissions and resources used from virtual consultations and telemedicine. The Basque Country aims to tackle challenges through innovative solutions and services as part of its strategy for the next generation of healthcare management.
This document summarizes data from Glencliff High School in Tennessee from 2010. It shows that the school has highly diverse student body from 44 countries speaking 40 languages. It also shows improvements in freshman promotion rates since implementing a Freshman Academy. Additional data outlines the school's performance, demographics, attendance, mobility, and Adequate Yearly Progress history. Scores on state standardized tests and ACT exams are provided. Throughout, the importance of recognizing the individual students behind the data is emphasized.
The document describes a multi-sector collaborative effort in Central Texas led by the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce to increase college enrollment and career readiness rates through data-driven research and policy changes. It outlines the collective impact approach taken and successes of the Student Futures Project in providing data that has informed improvements to programs and policies. Key lessons learned include the importance of continuous engagement between researchers and practitioners and maintaining relationships and research capacity over time.

The document discusses the economic challenges of an aging population in Hong Kong. It notes that Hong Kong's population is aging rapidly due to decreased birth rates and increased life expectancy. This aging population will place significant burdens on social welfare and medical systems as expenditures increase. It will also slow economic growth by decreasing the proportion of working individuals and reducing tax revenue from salaries. Solutions to address these challenges are debated.
1) Social media usage continues to grow rapidly, with 46 million Americans now using social networking sites several times per day.
2) A social media strategy should focus on identifying evangelists within the audience and determining their influence to help drive awareness, leads, and sales.
3) Metrics and analytics are important to track the return on investment of social media activities by measuring actions that are important to the business.
This document summarizes a study on rural workforce movers and telecommuters. It finds that 21% of rural households have someone who telecommutes. Telecommuters are more likely to be married, have larger households, and higher incomes. Respondents moved for slower pace of life, safety, and lower costs. However, many noted poor broadband access as a challenge to remaining in their communities or telecommuting. The study aims to help communities understand and attract telecommuters.
This document discusses health inequalities in England and Europe from 2010-2012. It summarizes several reports and studies that show gaps in life expectancy, cognitive development, and educational achievement based on socioeconomic factors. Charts and graphs illustrate differences in outcomes between high and low income groups. Recommendations from strategic reviews call for giving children a good start in life, enabling people to maximize their capabilities, creating fair employment, ensuring a healthy standard of living, and developing healthy communities. The document argues for local democratic leadership and community participation to build resilience and reduce the health impacts of inequalities.
Getting the Value of Value Based Plan PesignPrairieStates
The document discusses value based plan design, which aims to modify health plans to improve health outcomes and reduce costs by focusing on primary cost drivers. It emphasizes using various types of data to understand a population's demographics, health risks, cost drivers, and compliance rates. This data can help identify at-risk groups, measure compliance with best practices, and design plan incentives to improve compliance and manage costs over the long run. Simply shifting costs to employees may reduce short-term claims but ultimately increase overall costs by deterring necessary medical care.

How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.

4. What is Jewish Home Lifecare?
• We are a 165 year old not-for-profit agency that offers health
services and assistance to elders at our campuses in Manhattan,
the Bronx and Westchester.
• Our 3 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities have 1,600 beds.
Our nursing home campuses offer:
• Special Therapy Centers - Swallowing, Hemodialysis, Vision
• Beautiful gardens, cafes, libraries, media centers, lifestyle and
religious programming and activities
• Senior Housing: Kittay House, 3 HUD 202s in the Bronx
5. Community Services Division
Care and support to keep elders healthy and independent in their
own homes.
• Home Care in Bronx and Manhattan
• Adult Day Programs at all three nursing home campuses
• HAPI Home Health Care Agency
• Telehealth: HealthMonitor and Medication Dispenser Services
• Solutions at Home – Geriatric Care Management
• Transportation
6. Reasons for GCD Program Creation
1. Need for elders to have meaningful roles within the
nursing home.
2. Value placed on intergenerational relationships.
3. JHL’s commitment to community & youth.
4. Lack of mentors for at-risk youth & lack of understanding
of college & career paths.
5. Workforce development critical strategic issue for JHL
• Shortages of geriatric professionals (eg MD, RN, & OT/PT).
‣ Reassessment of JHL’s existing
intergenerational program.
6
7. Workforce Statistics
• There is an estimated need for 1.2 million new nurses by 2014. (CCLC,
2007)
• The number of people needing personal assistance and home health
services is expected to more than double from 14 million in 2000 to 27
million in 2050. (Kaye et al, 2006)
• Only 8.0% of all RNs are under the age of 30. The average age of the
RN population in the United States is 46.8 years.
• Approximately 4.2% are Black or African American (non-Hispanic);
3.1% are Asian, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander (non-Hispanic);
1.7% are Hispanic or Latino; 0.3% are American Indian or Alaska
Native; and 1.4% categorize themselves as two or more races and non-
Hispanic. (Minority Nurse, 2010)
