This document provides data on education indicators for Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools and other districts in North Carolina. It shows that CHCCS consistently performs well above state and local district averages on measures like SAT scores, EOG proficiency rates in reading and math, and high school graduation rates. However, it also reveals achievement gaps between white students and students of color or from low-income backgrounds within CHCCS and surrounding districts. Graduation rates and test performance have improved overall in recent years but gaps persist.
