Art Hives From Coast-To-Coast Weaving A Collective Narrative
This research paper documents and analyzes narratives from leaders of Art Hive projects across Canada. Art Hives are community art studios that promote social inclusion through non-directed art making. The researcher conducted a thematic analysis of short video narratives submitted by Art Hive leaders in order to gain insight into what motivates people to start Art Hives and their perceived impacts. The goals are to increase understanding between Art Hives, highlight their work, and educate the public about this model of social inclusion through the arts. The literature review discusses Art Hives as "third spaces" and "public homeplaces" that foster community, creativity, healing and dialogue.
A Legacy Curriculum
With voice, values, and vision elementary art students can begin to develop a legacy.
Students assign symbols to their interests, hobbies, favorite subjects and foods, personal and physical characteristics, and aspirations, drawing at least two symbols on small square cards. Students attach symbols to a large connect card to align symbols with other students’ symbols like dominoes. In addition to being able to move the entire domino card to different parts of the mind map or even different maps, each of the two symbols are moveable, as all of the aforementioned components are jpegs. Part of the experience includes exhibiting cards, using separate mind maps. Students experience how separate may not be equal and how sorting methods are demoralizing and rejoining offers renewal. Students attempt to connect with their peers or certain peers more frequently, by analyzing interests less rigidly, attaching and reattaching cards, and drawing more symbols to facilitate a match with a symbol of another.

This study examined the common styles of art portrayed in drawings by 30 gifted high school students. The students were asked to draw anything they wanted and their drawings were then rated by two art teachers and categorized as abstract, impressionist, expressionist, or realistic. A chi-squared test found that while abstract art was most common, the differences in proportions of each style were not statistically significant. Therefore, the null hypothesis that gifted students would portray an equal proportion of styles could not be rejected. The results provide insight into the creative thought processes of intellectually talented students.

Alison Kennedy CE Proposal
Alison Kennedy proposes running identity exploration zine workshops for LGBTQ+ youth at Kaleidoscope Youth Center in Columbus, Ohio. The weekly workshops over five months will focus on creating content and designing pages for an original zine. Selected zine pages will be enlarged for a poster exhibit at Kaleidoscope's OtherProm event in May. The project aims to give queer youth a creative outlet, sense of belonging, and opportunity for self-expression. If funded, the project timeline includes three phases: planning from October to December 2015, weekly workshops from January to May 2016, and exhibiting the zine posters at OtherProm in late May 2016.

The proposal attracted a great deal of community interest, but was not pursued by the government.

Fitzgerald has extensive experience as a curator and museum professional, previously serving as Chief Curator at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis. This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
