Mr. Paul Donovan is the primary Information Technology Support Specialist at Gloucester High
School. He has been very effective in this essential role. We hired Paul three years ago and, in
addition to his responsibilities in overseeing Information Technologies at GHS during a time of
exponentially rapid expansion, I have also had the opportunity to appreciate his creativity and
initiative in helping to establish a vision and direction of how related technologies will impact
teaching and learning at Gloucester High School.
Mr. Donovan has been integral in helping teachers to incorporate integrated technologies across
our curriculum. His skills translate across both the nuts and bolts side of educational IT, and,
more importantly in my mind, the human interrelationship side as well. He has been especially
helpful in assisting our teachers to incorporate our 1-to-1 laptop initiative. Paul also
communicates with a number of outside agencies to help establish or secure partnerships to
further opportunities for our students.
We will miss Paul and his contributions here at GHS. I would prefer that he stay with us, but I
certainly support his professional aspirations and hope that this letter is of assistance. If you’d
