The Young Brokers Council is a non-profit organization, created to provide an avenue of
expression for the energy and ideas of young leaders of IBAO membership. The council
seeks to inspire and enhance leadership qualities in its members, and encourages any
IBAO member under the age of 40 to join and participate in YBC activities. The annual
YBC Conference invites young brokers from across Ontario, and offers valuable educational
sessions, outstanding guest speakers, and excellent networking opportunities
IBAO’s annual convention has set the standard for providing the most powerful
networking opportunities available to member brokers, industry leaders, and service
industry partners. IBAO strives to cast a wide net of support around insurance brokers.
This is the largest insurance broker celebration of the year, where the IBAO summarizes a
year’s worth of teaching and experience. It works to motivate member brokers for the future,
educate them on new market trends, strengthen their commitment, and promote leadership
within their own brokerage. Every year we raise the bar, sparing no effort to make this a top-
notch industry event.
