This personal safety plan outlines the responsibilities of an individual in ensuring safety at work, at home, and in the community. The plan states that the individual will rely on safety experts, focus on identifying root causes without blame, address unsafe actions and conditions immediately, and keep safety knowledge up to date. The overall goal is to be a safety leader and proactively improve safety programs through openness to feedback.

1. Personal Safety Plan
Environmental Controls Construction Projects
I am always On for Safety. On the job. At home. In my
community.
I am a Safety Leader not a safety professional. I will
rely on subject matter experts on the field and in the
office to find safer ways to do and conduct our work.
I am responsible for Safety. When finding root causes
I will be focus on Physical, Human and Latent
conditions. I will not blame anybody for unsafe
conditions or actions. But will find responsible to
take actions and make changes for safe behaviors and
safe conditions.
I will address unsafe actions and unsafe conditions
every time I see them immediately to the people
involved and the supervisor or manager responsible for
the area or people.
I will keep my EHS studies fresh and updated so I can
be proactive on local and global regulations to add
value on our current safety programs.
I will be open to receive
feedback about my behavior on
site and out of work so I can
improve my managerial skills.
