The Gartner IT Financial, Procurement & Asset Management Summit 2014 was held
on 17 – 18 September at the Lancaster London Hyde Park. This report summarizes
and provides highlights from the event.
Overview
At Gartner IT Financial, Procurement & Asset Management Summit 2014, more than 300
professionals gained essential tools and strategies to analyze licensing options and negotiate
contracts to mitigate risks and control costs in an expanding digital world.
During the summit, attendees heard insights from the most recently published Gartner research,
exchanged ideas with their peers during networking sessions and interacted with Gartner
analysts in one-on-one sessions and analyst-user roundtables.
In addition, attendees learned from their fellow practitioners during end-user case studies and
best-practice sessions with DHL, Eurocontrol and OHIM.
Summit highlights included an inspiring and rousing keynote from Kevin Gaskell. Delegates
walked away with new management tips and skills as well as how to make better decisions,
faster.
