Glass.
• The site was launched in July 2006.
• In 2013 Twitter was one of the ten most visited websites
• Twitter is also known as the SMS of the internet.

• Facebook is the most popular social network and the
third most visited site in Australia. It’s estimated that
around 40% of the population (nine million people)
check Facebook daily, with more than 7.3 million
checking on mobile.
• Twitter is the 15th most visited website in Australia. It
only opened its Sydney HQ in September 2013.
• In the US Twitter is ranked 2nd after Facebook with
Linkedin following 3rd.
