 At the outset of the 2013-2014 NBA season,
expectations for the Phoenix Suns were low in a Pacific
Division that includes the Los Angeles Lakers, Chris
Paul’s Clippers, and last season’s playoff darlings, the
Golden State Warriors. After three losing seasons, the
off-season acquisition of Eric Bledsoe from the Los
Angeles Clippers seemed like little more than an
indication of success that might come in the distant

backcourt of Bledsoe and Goran Dragic to a 19-11
