โ€ข Server Co-Location: Catalyst proposes a wide range of co-location
options for clients needing a secure and stable environment for their
existing hardware. Co-locating within the data center is plain,
reasonable, inexpensive and hassle free. 100% availability is the key
for successful hosting companies and Catalyst has State of the art
infrastructure & round the clock support services team in place to
deliver it.
โ€ข Value : Gurgaon โ€“ Colocation is a saleable service as for the Gurgaon based
companies as we are next door. However market pricing is cheap and power
cost is a concern.
โ€ข Our interaction have shown customer will increase their base if he sees
saving in the offering compared to market.
โ€ข Our Analysis says Customer pays 0-10-15% as an extra in this segment Only.
Ex : Webaroo , Cocubes , Barden IT , Comeco , Value first etc.

โ€ขHosting/Cloud Services: Catalyst provides hosting server solutions and
builds solutions for clients leveraging its strategic alliances with
industry leaders like VMware, HP, Oracle, SUN, Adobe, Microsoft,
Cisco, F5 etc. Our enterprise-class IT infrastructure is designed to
ensure the highest levels of manageability, security and scalability.
โ€ข Customers go in for hosting(Virtualization) if it is a part of complete solution.
But this is a profitable proposition .
โ€ข We can host outside customers with DR at Dubai or US. India customers will be
opportunity driven.
โ€ข ISV driven model needs to be explored singularly.i.e TALLY , applications like
asset management ,VocoSolutions , NMS etc.
โ€ข Our Analysis/Experience says Customer pays 20 โ€“ 50% extra in this segment
generally.
EX: HBG , Tristar ,Minfi Guinea for now.

Option 1: Buying all servers upfront ( 16 servers )
Option 2: Leasing all servers.
Option 3: Rental option
Option 4: Refurbished servers used in US DC- Hurricane ( scaled as per
requirement) Proposed by Mr Ray.
Option 5 : Refurbished Servers to be sent to India to be used along side our
current infrastructure.
Approximate Costing :
Option 1 :: Rs 3.5 lacs to 5 lacs per server.
Option 2 :: Rs 94 per thousand.
Option 3 :: Rs 16000 per server per month . Total = Rs 256,000 per month.
Option 4 : 500 USD per server . so 16 servers are 8000 USD + DC costs
