The American Academy of Professional Coders Casa Grande, Arizona chapter held their January 2013 meeting. Kathy Apodaca was introduced as the new Vice President. Upcoming monthly meeting topics were announced, including diabetes education in February and coding graffiti in March. A new location was selected for upcoming CPC certification exams. The chapter also launched initiatives to become chapter of the year and recognize member of the month/year. Coding study halls and a CPT code update presentation concluded the meeting.

Introducing the launch of “Study Hall” for coding students and members who need
to study for their exams.
Passed the meeting on to Stephanie Timmons and Kathy Apodaca to present the
2013 CPT Update Presentation.
Great door prizes were handed out by ticket raffle.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
