Painting and drilling holes<br />2011-2-24<br />4343400110490What have been done today? <br />50292002874010This is a picture of me sanding my key tag using a garnet paper.This is a picture of my painted key tag.-9144001045210I sanded my key tag with a 1200 garnet paper, to get rid of the dark color on the front. It was a nice color, but when I was filing the edge, the color came off, and it looked bad, so I decided to sand them all. I used a rougher garnet paper first, and then the smoother one. After that I started to paint on the key tag. But Mr. Anderson said I shouldn’t paint on it, because the grain of the wood I was using looked really good, and if I want to paint it I should use cheaper wood. But I already started painting, so Mr. Anderson told me to only paint one side. I planned to make a blue cross on top of the white, but I don’t like the color of the marker, so I decided not to put blue on it. Then I drilled a hole, but the hole didn’t go all the way through, so I have to drill it again. <br />Emotion <br />This is the blue I wanted to be like on my key tag, but the marker was not this color. I don't really like my key tag that much, because I changed it a lot from my original plan. It doesn’t look like anything now, it suppose to look like a life ring.<br />What's next?<br />I am finishing it, so I just need to drill the hole again. I’m not sure if I am going to lacquer it, because last year, when I lacquered on my white stool, the lacquer showed yellow on my stool, so I had to paint it again. <br />Learner profile (reflective)<br />We need to be reflective because when we make a mistake, we have to think what we did wrong, and what can we improve. Problem are not always caused by other people, so you have to be reflective, so that you know where were your mistakes and how can you improve it.<br />
