 What was the Ancient Hebrew’s interpretation in comparison to
today’s Western Civilization’s?
 Tsālacḥ describes the concept. – “Accomplishing satisfactorily
what is intended.” To succeed, prosper or achieve a goal.
 Sākal tells us how to achieve prosperity. “To be insightful,
intelligent, prudent.” Because the insightful person acts wisely
they prosper.
 Tôb identifies the appropriate foundation. “Practical,
technical, abstract, & philosophical good and graciousness.
 shelēvâh, shālēm, shelēvetāk & shālôm depicts the state of
mind prosperity produces. “Safe, completeness, in perfect
relations with others, soundness, wholeness and completely
recompensed.

 Pride is the enemy of Prosperity – Originate in the words: gā’ôn
and ga’avâh. Both words come from the root word gā’âh,
meaning to mount or rise up, to be majestic, and glorious,
carrying a deeper meaning than just entitlement, arrogance,

individual has the love of the world in them and the love of God
at the same time they can suffer from double mindedness or
spiritual schizophrenia. The reality is that the Bible sets limits on
our behavior. The QMQ helps measure those boundaries. How
