The document discusses women's empowerment and skill development in India from 2012-2022. It finds that while women make up 49% of the population, their participation in economic activity is only 34%. Education plays a key role in skill development and empowerment by increasing literacy, decision making ability, and access to resources. However, there are still constraints to women's education like limited access in rural areas, lack of infrastructure, and early marriage. The government has implemented programs to boost literacy rates from 7.3% in 1951 to 54% in 2011, though a gap remains compared to men. Overall, education and skill development are necessary to fully include women in India's development.

It is a well known fact that children are considered as asset for any nation. So, for the development of the nation it is very necessary that the children of that nation must be nourished in a way that a feeling of patriotism must enrich their mind. When children are exploited by people for their own benefits in case of forcing them to work in situations which are dangerous for them, then it is the fault of the state that it is incapable to protect its future generation. India which is a very wide country in respect of population, it must be the duty of the state to protect their children from being exploited and also to ensure their proper growth and development. Child Labour Act, 1986 provide great protection to the children but the implementation of the act in the wide populated country is very tricky. In this regard this paper tries to study the current laws relating to child labour and also the improvements which are needed in respect to child labour. Effective Management of Secondary Education as an Instrument for National Sec...iosrjce
Education is the highest source of empowerment an individual can acquire, as it teaches exhibition
of desirable behaviour and makes people aware of their rights, privileges and obligations. The paper therefore,
discussed relevance and challenges in the management of secondary education for national security and
sustainable development. The purpose of this paper is to identify relevance of effective management of
secondary on national security and sustainable development. Finding the problems encountered by secondary
school administrators in achieving this. The study was descriptive survey research in which the quantitative
data were collected through 24 – item questionnaire titled relevance and challenges encountered in Effective
Management of Secondary Education as an instrument for National Security and sustainable Development in
Nigeria (ICEMSENSD). This was administered on 270 respondents made up of male and female principals.
Data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation on a modified 4 point rating scale for research
questions and t- test statistics for the two hypotheses. Findings of the study revealed among others that
principals’ effective management of education at the secondary level serves as an instrument for national
security and sustainable development in Nigeria. It was also revealed that some challenges which include lack
of qualified and dedicated teachers, unconducive environment, and examination malpractice hinder effective
administration of secondary education. Based on the above, some recommendations were made.
The present paper seeks to explain the issues plaguing higher education in India against the backdrop of globalization and resultant demand for higher standard of quality education. While the demand for higher education has been growing, system has rendered itself as ill-equipped to meet the needs of different strata of society. To government, higher education receives a low priority. Short term measures such as hikes in course fee, appointing part time teachers, introducing paid and market oriented courses are being adopted by the government that in the long run defeat the very social objectives of higher education. In the era of globalization, states are more competitive and even more interdependent. Even the future of state is more dependent on the creation of new knowledge to suit its people in the discharge of their duties in administration, business and in all other areas. This possible if right to higher education is recognized as one of the individual and higher embraces the principle of equality

The study employed the use of survey design in order to accomplish the research objectives. The accessible population for the study was 375 representatives of different youth groups and 65 officials of devolved fund initiative in Uasin Gishu County. Sample size was computed using the Fishers formula. Proportionate sampling was applied to select respondents. The researcher employed the use of questionnaire and interview schedule to collect data from participants. This study used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics were done using frequency percentages, means and standard deviation of each variable. The coefficient of variation were used where data were skewed. Correlation and regression were used to show the relationship between the dependent variable and the whole group of independent variables. The results of the study were presented using Tables and figures. The study found that budgetary allocation has a positive and a significant influence on performance of youth group project in the county government of Uasin Gishu (β1=0.154, p<0.05). The study concluded that the amount disbursed to youths is equally distributed and done in time. Funds disbursements are based on projects types and the youth can compete competitively by accessing enough amount of money to finance their businesses. The study recommends that the training programs on entrepreneurship should be enhanced and be made compulsory before the group is funded. This will ensure that the youth will be able to make the right decision on investments as well as on proper accounting of their financial resources.

Women Empowerment in Relation to Indian Economyijtsrd
While the Indian government left no stone unturned in overhauling the economy and providing the much needed impetus to MSMEs, we read stories of both the resilience and the struggle of women entrepreneurs wading through a sea of problems and yet refusing to give up. Therefore, it is our social and moral obligation to facilitate an enabling environment for women desirous of entering the workforce by rendering them equal opportunities and opening up new avenues for them to thrive. Despite India’s general progress in terms of the number of women entrepreneurs in the country, there still remains a considerable gender gap that needs to be closed. Currently, women only account for 13.56 per cent in the entrepreneurial space and have a significantly disproportionate presence in the labour force. Though the government has been making continuous efforts to empower women in India, they continue to be, by and large, hobbled by disempowerment, financial dependency and inequalities. As per the India SDG Index, India has secured a score of 42 on a scale of 100 on the indicator of “Gender Equalityâ€. The figures from the latest Periodic Labour Force Survey also lay bare the vast gender inequality An abysmal 19.7 per cent rural women and 16.1 per cent of women in urban areas were found to be in the labour force. To plug these gaps and work towards an inclusive society, every stakeholder has to do more. WOMEN EMPOWERMENT IMPREGNATES THE DEVELOPMENT 21ST CENTURY SCENARIO ijejournal
Wherever Women is respected, God resides there. This Vedic verse would came true with the empowerment of women only. It is one of the pivotal features of the development also. According to Todaro, development refers to a multi-dimensional process which recognize the entire economic and social systems. Therefore development signifies an elimination of poverty, inequality and unemployment which can yield higher dividend in future. In this context, the emancipation of women from the vicious grips of social, economical and gender-based discrimination is vital. Women empowerment is an aid to establish economic stability, judicial strength and all other rights which can lessen gender gap considerably. 21st Century is an age of Science and technology, an era of globalization where social transformation accelerates development with a greater pace. In this age of tele-working, tele-shopping and tele-learning, women are considered as mainstream for sustainable development. Today the modern woman is so deft that she can easily make her presence felt in politics, literature, entertainment, technology everywhere. And this empowermentdevelopment nexus is actually self-sustaining to each other.
