The researchers observed that students have serious difficulties with pronunciation, understanding basic commands, and lack the vocabulary levels established by standards. They attribute this to traditional teaching methods, underuse of technology, teacher-centered classes, lack of parental and prior year support, and few extracurricular activities. The research question asks how new technologies and games can help address these issues. The objectives are to diagnose skills/vocabulary, identify influencing factors, and design a methodology proposal using ICTs and innovative games.
