This document is a thesis written by I Gede Agus Ekasaputra that examines the implementation of the PPP (Presentation-Practice-Production) technique to improve writing skills for eighth grade students at SMPN 3 Bangli in the 2013/2014 academic year. The thesis contains an introduction, literature review, research methods, findings and discussion, and conclusion. It employed a classroom action research design using pre- and post-tests to evaluate the effectiveness of the PPP technique in two cycles, each consisting of two sessions. The results showed an improvement in student writing scores from cycle to cycle, indicating that the PPP technique was effective in developing the students' descriptive paragraph writing ability.
