A team of 12 volunteers will run over 17,000 km through 42 European capitals in 84 days to pray for peace in Ukraine and demonstrate unity between Ukraine and the European Union. The unprecedented marathon seeks to break records for the longest uninterrupted group run and fastest time crossing Europe on foot while strengthening international support for peace in Ukraine.
The Run for Peace project is an 84-day marathon that will see 12 volunteers run over 17,000 km through 42 European capitals to promote peace in Ukraine. Starting on March 21st in Kyiv, the team will run approximately 20 km per day to visit government officials, businesses, and Ukrainian diaspora communities in each city to pray for peace. The unprecedented athletic feat aims to break records for the longest group run and fastest crossing of Europe on foot while strengthening ties between Ukraine and the EU.
