Mother Teresa said that ,you can do what I can’t do, I can do what you can’t do. Together we
can do great things and I quote this to tell how essential is group work is in 21st century
learning.
Thank you, Mr/Madam Speaker. A very good morning I bid to the honorable judges, esteemed
timekeepers, the opposition and members of the floor.
We, as the Government, strongly agree with the motion for today and believe that group work
will be the most effective approach to determine the success of 21st century learning. As the
prime minister of the government team, it is my duty to provide you with an understanding of
today’s motion. Group work will be the most effective approach to determine the success of
21st century learning. Let me break this up. The motion is mainly about group work and 21st
century learning. Merriam-Webster dictionary defines that group work involves students
working collaboratively on set tasks,in or out of the classroom. In the classroom, group work
can take many forms; however, the goal remains the same--get students to interact with each
other and collaborate to complete a unified task. By doing so, we are getting students to work
with people they may never have chosen to work with. This concept teaches diversity,
communication, and compromise.
Group work includes any learning and teaching tasks or activities that require students to work
in groups And talking about 21st century , the term is generally used to refer to certain core
competencies such as collaboration with digital literacy, critical thinking , and problem solving
skills that advocates believe schools need to teach students to learn for the future. Learning in
collaboration is an educational approach to teach that involves groups of learners working
together to solve a problem, complete a task, or create a product. In group work learning
environment, the learners are challenged both socially and emotionally as they listen to
different perspectives, and are required to articulate and defend their ideas.
Ladies and gentlemen,
When you hear 'group work,' do you moan and roll your eyes? Or do you do an inner cheer
since you get to share the responsibility for work and talk to other people at the same time?
Group work forces everyone to be on the same page.
In order for students to be prepared for more complex life and work environment a 21st century
classroom must promote creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration. The
vital part of the elements as we would strongly suggest will be communication and
collaboration., this is because, as they articulate thoughts and bright diverse ideas clearly and

2. effectively and share responsibility for group work. The ability to collaborate with others has
become one of the most important skill both in education sector and also in working sectors.
We believe that group work has been accepted as a skill that’s essential to achieve meaningful
and effective results as in the working world. In the past decade, however, it has become
increasingly clear that collaboration is not only important but necessary for students and
employees, due to globalization and the rise of technology.
A recent survey by the Assosiation of American colleges and universitis found that more than
80% of emloyers look for collaboration skills in new-hires, less than new 20% of them
considered new graduates prepared to work in teams, generally, group work essential to achive
meaningful and effective results.
Therefor we the government team again strongly agree with motion today which is group work
is the most effective approach to determine the success of 21st century learning. Thank you.
