This document is an autobiography by Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson about their time as members of the boy band One Direction. It describes how they initially auditioned as solo artists for The X Factor UK but were put together as a group by Simon Cowell. Though they placed third in the competition, Cowell signed them to his record label, launching their rise to fame. The book is split into five parts, each told from a different member's perspective, sharing personal stories and insights from their experiences on The X Factor and as One Direction.

would recommend to anyone to read. The book
doesn’t just tell you about how One Direction came to
be, but also shares stories and information about the
boys that you may never heard before. Having each
member write their own part makes the book much
more personal. It also make it feel like you are getting
to know them one on one. The book also features a lot
of excusive pictures of Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry, and
Louis during their time in the X-Factor and afterwards.
