3. A2 AS Research and planning presented in various creative ways such as PowerPoint's, spider diagrams, montages, podcasts etc. Most of my research and planning was presented in Microsoft Word or written by hand Creativity A lot more creative freedom given to task so we had the opportunity to develop our skills in filming, editing and constructing a whole narrative from scratch The film adhered to the constraints of the set task; a five minute opening sequence Coursework was submitted on paper in a folder with printed out research tasks and written analysis and evaluation Coursework was submitted on a blog which makes the work more accessible but also more capable of being presented in creative ways
4. AS A2 During my AS coursework the research and planning was unorganised, most of which was written after the product was made. Presented as ordered and dated by the posts on the blog so that it can be viewed in relation to the final product. Research & Planning Research presented in a variety of media formats and posted on the blog. Research presented in MS word or written by hand in text format. The planning of my AS film is similar to the final outcome as it was written after the product was made so shows no evidence of planning development. The planning for the A2 film was done before the film was made and clearly shows the development of our ideas and the influence of our research
5. AS A2 For the AS film I used the basic entry level editing software that came with my computer For the A2 film i used a more complex editing software which allowed me to add more effects and develop my skills in editing I had gained a better understanding of the software and knew how to manipulate the film effectively using these techniques Post Production I had only a basic knowledge of how to use the software and didn’t know how to fully utilize it Didnt prepare for post production by filming a vast ammount of rushes which made the post production process more difficult Shot a lot of rush footage so that the editing process was easier and we could edit more effectively
