1. Recent interior design upgrades at 191
North Wacker’s 8th floor Fitness Center
are designed to help tenants foster a
“new attitude toward healthier living.
With its open ceiling concept, updated
lighting and carpeting, and design
accents that promote an active lifestyle,
the renovated Fitness Center is a physical
representation of the Management
Team’s commitment to tenant well-being.
“The Fitness Center’s updated, more
vibrant color scheme presents a more
welcoming environment,” explains
Property Manager Deborah Tomlin. “We
hope it will also will provide additional
encouragement for tenants to achieve
their individual fitness goals.”
Packed with cardiovascular stations and
strength equipment, the Fitness Center
offers unparalleled convenience for ten-
ants to establish an exercise regimen
that fits their personal needs. Plans call
for the building to purchase a few pieces
of new equipment in 2016.
Fitness Center membership is free to all
191 North Wacker tenants and employ-
ees. Waivers are available on Building
Engines. For more information, contact

FITNESS CENTER UPGRADES HELPS TENANTS EMBRACE
‘NEW ATTITUDE’ TOWARD HEALTHIER LIFESTYLES
Chris Steiner gained an in-depth knowledge
of commercial property accounting and
finance while working for a Chicago-based
real estate investment trust, but a growing
interest in the management side of the busi-
ness led her to a more fulfilling role as 191
North Wacker’s new
Assistant Property Manager.
“I had been working with
properties around the country in a financial sup-
port capacity for several years, but I finally real-
ized I wanted something more hands-on,” Chris recalls. “Property
management had always seemed like such an exciting profession.
Joining 191 North Wacker’s Management Team represented an
amazing opportunity to work directly with tenants and play a
small role in ensuring their continued success.”
Since her arrival in August, Chris has immersed herself in
practically all aspects of building operations. She spearheads
tenant service initiatives, coordinates the successful implemen-
tation of services provided by outside vendors, and manages a
diverse range of projects – including budgeting and month-
end financial reporting.
“It didn’t take very long for me to develop a personal attach-
ment to this building. I enjoy experiencing first-hand how our
tenants benefit from the work we
do,” Chris explains. “That’s not
something that happened very
often when I worked almost exclu-
sively with spreadsheets.”
Originally from Bloomington, IL, Chris earned her Bachelor’s
Degree in Accounting from the University of Mississippi, where
she also minored in Real Estate. She then completed her
Master’s in Accounting from Mississippi State University.
Chris is an avid runner who has participated in several half-
marathons. She and her husband, Robert, are self-professed “food-
ies” who enjoy dining at new restaurants. They also enjoy travel-
ing: Europe was the most recent destination on their itinerary.
