Use the « Ryder Cup Magic » to help French elite golfers
The ffgolf has supported young French golfers for many years. The success of these young athletes will help
bring enthusiasm and excitement to French supporters and the game of golf.
A new generation of golfers is emerging. Their ultimate goals is to perform consistently at an international
level including the Olympic Games of Rio 2016, or even to make the next Ryder Cup Teams in 2014,2016
and 2018.

Golf Development
418 000 registered golfers in 2012
Thanks to the Ryder Cup and a strong communication programme, France hopes to have 600 000 registered
golfers by 2018.
Make golf more accessible
The ffgolf is intrinsically involved in the Plan to build 100 short courses
Since the launch of this project, over 52 courses have been built,
or are under consctruction.

Establish France as a golfing destination
Golf plays an important role in the tourism industry. Although France is one of the
most visited countries in the world it is not ranked amonst the top golfing
destination. With already 720 Golf courses, the light shed from hosting the Ryder
Cup is the opportunity to help showcase France as a golfing destination. Each of
France’s Regions has many golf courses, from the South West, Brittany, the
