The Moulin Rouge is a famous cabaret in Paris, France established in 1889. It is located in the Montmartre neighborhood. The artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec helped immortalize the Moulin Rouge through his posters and paintings in the late 19th century. There have been two films about the Moulin Rouge - a 1952 film directed by John Huston and a 2001 musical film directed by Baz Luhrmann.
