God is busy restoring the earth by restoring us into His image and restoring our relationships. You can glorify Him in every relationship you have and so doing be a steward of His plan for the world.

“See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you
before that great and dreadful day of the Lord
comes. 6 He will turn the hearts of the parents
to their children, and the hearts of the children
to their parents; or else I will come and strike
the land with total destruction.”

The DNA of Stewardship.
John 1:1-3 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
Steward (as an official office in a kingdom) = a person who is appointed by the ruling king to represent Him in a country, to manage the King’s property, to do the King’s bidding, and to govern in His name
God – the One True King – created you in His Image
As His image bearer, He has appointed you to represent Him on earth – to REFLECT His image and REPLICATE His image throughout the earth
He has also created you in His image that you would subdue the earth and rule over it – that you would MANAGE His creation – not to your ends but to His
Acts 17:24“He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples, 25 and human hands can’t serve his needs—for he has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need. 26 From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries. 27 “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. 28 For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ 29 And since this is true, we shouldn’t think of God as an idol designed by craftsmen from gold or silver or stone.
Mat 6:9 "Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
God is a Father and wants His people to know Him as such. He made this world to work as a family with Him as the Father. Like with everything else relationships work when we carry the DNA of stewardship. Therefore God defines the opposite of terrible and destruction as restoration in relationships. God wants to restore all of creation and is busy doing it, but t begins with people coming together. In fact Rom 8:19 “For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God” (NASB). Creation is hanging on until the Father can be seen through His children. This begins with relationships. The planet cannot be healed until we come together, until we start acting like the children who is caring for their father’s house.
Relationships are tricky. Each one is different. They’re messy and complicated and painful, yet we can’t flourish without them. Relationship is at the center of exchange. It’s at the center of the universe, really, and always has been.
What does it mean to steward relationships with others? “Steward” can often elicit ideas of profit maximization and what’s in it for me?
Biblically, to “steward” means to apply our God-given resources to the best of our ability, for his purpose, and to his glory. The currency of relationships, as Christ tells us, is love. In applying stewardship to relationships, we should seek to invest, grow, and maximize love.
The glory of God is when the invisible qualities of God are made visible or knowable. Therefore if you want to glorify God in your relationships, this means you must reveal the character and image of God in your relationships. When you bear his image and reflect God through the way you treat and love the person you are in a relationship with, you are glorifying God in that relationship.
We want to cultivate our love for others, staying true to our original job description to cultivate the earth and all that is in it.
Ownership is a key principle of biblical stewardship. God ultimately owns everything (Psalm 24), so to understand relationships and our role in them, we must first examine God’s purpose.
Whenever we come to relationships we should be clear about ownership. If we believe we own then we can abuse, but if we recognize we are accountable to God that owns it changes everything.
Luke 10:27 He answered, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Forms the basis of morality.
We have opportunities everyday in every human interaction to see God’s glory. Are you ready for more of God’s glory in your everyday life. Let’s take God’s glory out of the church and into the streets. It is fantastic to sense Glory in the church but that won’t change the world unless we see His glory in our coffee shops, offices, trains, sport stadiums and nor for Christian events only but at any places and times people meet.
