of a new Racor product, Racor warrants and guarantees only to the original purchaser-user that such a product shall be free from defects of materials and workmanship in the manufacturing process. The warranty

Study Current Installation
• Mounting Hardware: Save mounting
hardware as you remove the
current installation, if it’s in
good condition, otherwise, have
new parts on hand.
• Inlet/Outlet Port Locations: Take
picture of current installation.
Mark all inlet ports, outlet ports,
and fuel lines with tape or
labels.
• Return Fuel Hose: Mark return fuel
hose, if equipped.
• Water-In-Fuel (WIF) Sensor: Mark
WIF connector with tape or
labels, if equipped.
• Bowl Heater: Mark bowl heater
connector with tape or labels, if
equipped.
Remove Current Fuel Filter
Assembly
1. Drain current fuel filter
assembly per the manufacturer’s
recommendations.
2. Remove all fuel lines and
connectors.
3. Remove current filter assembly
from application.
Mount and Install New
GreenMAX Filter Assembly
1. Using existing mounting holes,
install GreenMAX assembly to
your application.
2. Identify fittings on Inlet and
Outlet fuel lines.
3. Select mating Inlet/Outlet fitting
from kit and install in filter
assembly mounting head.
4. Install port plugs that came in
box with GreenMAX into unused
Inlet and Outlet ports.
5. Identify fittings on Inlet and
Outlet return fuel lines, if
equipped.
6. Install return lines directly to
selected mating Inlet and Outlet
fittings from kit and install.
7. Identify engine return-to-tank
fuel port on the GreenMAX.
8. Disconnect return-to-tank fuel
line from engine.
9. Install 32492 fitting on return-
to-tank port (H2) on GreenMAX.
10. Match fuel line size of return-
to-tank fuel line with fuel lines
provided: RS7077-01 for
5/8˝ ID hose or RS7077-02 for
1/2˝ ID hose.
11. Select fitting below to use with
5/8˝ or 1/2˝ fuel line.

12. Put hose clamp on end of fuel
line selected.
13. Press fitting into fuel line.
14. Tighten clamp.
15. Connect to return-to-tank port
fitting on engine.
16. Install 32492 fitting onto
return-from-engine (H1) port of
GreenMAX return fuel valve.
17. Safely route fuel line between
engine return-to-tank port (H2)
and return-from-engine port
(H1).
18. Cut fuel line to length.
19. Install hose clamp and fitting
from step 5.
20. Connect to return-from-engine
port (H1).
21. Install 32492 fitting on return-
to-tank port (H2) on GreenMAX.
22. Install hose clamp and fitting
from step 5.
23. Connect fuel line to return-to-
tank port (H2).
24. Safely route fuel line between
return-to-tank port (H2) and
tank.
25. Start engine and check for
leaks. Correct as necessary
with engine off.
Additional Notes
• Bowl Heater: Select heater
harness that mates with existing
chassis harness or use harness
provided with kit.
• Bowl Wrench: Store bowl wrench
for future filter changes.
• Follow instructions included in
GreenMAX packaging to prime
and check fuel system before
starting.
• For WIF applications, select
from two harnesses available.
• Replace fuel filter every 10,000
miles, 500 engine hours,
annually, or at first indication
of power loss, whichever
occurs first. Always keep extra
replacement fuel filters on-hand
as one full tank of excessively
dirty fuel can clog a filter
quickly.
