doorway covered in blood that she
got from escaping the coffin.

Lady Madeline attacks Roderick
for burying her when she was
still alive.

25. RESOLUTION
Roderick Usher dies and the narrator
flees the scene as the house comes
down with both Lady Madeline and
Roderick Usher leaving no trace.
