The women's cooperative COLIMAR was formed in 2003 in Governador Celso Ramos, Santa Catarina, Brazil to add value to local fishery products, generate employment and income for fishermen's families. Through the cooperative, fishermen's wives began producing foods like pastries and dumplings from fish and seafood to sell to restaurants and supermarkets. The NASDesign group provided training to the cooperative in design management, and developed their visual identity, packaging, signage, and ergonomic workstations.
