A bank robbery occurred and an incomplete description was obtained of the thief. By asking questions of another witness who saw the thief from a different angle, additional details can be obtained to build a complete picture of the thief. The activity instructs partners to take turns asking each other questions to fill in the missing answers about descriptions of the thief's hand, money, mouth and clothing color until a full description is achieved.

There was a bank robbery, and you got a brief but incomplete glimpse of the
thief. Another person saw the robber, but from a different angle. Ask that
person questions and he or she will ask you questions. When finished, you
should have a complete picture of the thief.
With a partner take turns asking each other questions for each box that has
no answer. Write the answer that your partner tells you until you both have
an answer to every question.
