The Black Men's Coalition at Washington University in St. Louis held a general body meeting to discuss their mission, upcoming events, and a presentation from Martel Mann. Their mission is to stimulate brotherhood, personal development, and academic success for black men while facilitating community service. Their upcoming events include a general body meeting, ABS/BMC application workshop, celebration event, alumni/faculty panel, study rooms, and assisting with a black male leadership conference. They also screened a film and discussed mentoring and financial goals opportunities.

The Black Men’s Coalition at Washington University in St. Louis stimulates
brotherhood, personal development, and academic success while facilitating
community service and social awareness amongst Black men in our
community.
The Black Men’s Coalition strives to transform the college experience for
Black men attending Washington University in St. Louis.
BMC strives to foster a strong, inclusive community while simultaneously
providing a new, safe space for Black men to gather and prosper.
BMC strives to prepare the Black Men of Washington University for a future
of social, academic, professional, and personal excellence.
