This document provides information on MEZ-PLAST, a sealing compound for sealing air ducts and ventilation systems. It is acrylic resin-based and solvent-free. It offers a alternative to soldering with good adhesion to all metals. It hardens quickly, is resistant to chemicals and fulfills sanitary requirements for clean rooms. Application involves cutting off the cartridge tip and filling joints and caulking points before smoothing with a spattle.

- MEZ-PLAST is ready for use and does not require any preliminary purification or degreasing thereby allowing
one to set out to work immediately with the assistance of a brush, spattle or spreader
- After full cure you can use paint
- The limited evaporation properties of the solvent lead to possible shrinking

- Cut off cartridge tip above the screw thread and then unscrew plastic nozzle. As per requirements make a
slant and then use cartridge in hand or blow gun to spray on surface. Working with compressed air in

cartridges or tubes a 3-5 bar pressure is necessary.
- Fill the joints and the caulking points as per requirements and see to it that no air pockets emerge
- Use spattle dampened with washing-up liquid or moist fingers to smoothen surface.
