WHO	SHOULD	ATTEND?	
This	conference	is	designed	for	professionals	in	education,	psychology,	child	development,	speech	
and	language	pathology,	school	psychology,	and	other	related	fields.	
The	conference	will	focus	on	strategies	that	work	across	grades	and	
across	domains	including	reading,	writing,	math,	and	content	area	
subjects.	Attendees	will	learn	how…	
	
-	executive	function	weaknesses	affect	academic	performance	across	
the	grades	
	
-	to	foster	motivation	and	emotional	regulation	in	students	
	
-	weaknesses	in	executive	function	manifest	in	students	with	difference	
types	of	learning	differences,	including	ADHD,	behavioral	challenges,	
and	autism	spectrum	disorders	
	
-	to	teach	executive	function	strategies	so	that	students	learn	to	plan,	
prioritize,	organize,	shift	flexibly,	and	self-check	when	they	approach	
their	academic	work.	
	
Plenary	sessions	and	smaller	concurrent	sessions	will	provide	
opportunities	for	in-depth	discussion	with	faculty.
