On November 26th, thousands of activists in 65 countries will participate in Buy Nothing Day, an annual event originating in Vancouver, Canada. Activists aim to challenge themselves and others to go without shopping for a day through activities like credit card cut-ups and mall marches. Some participate to protest overconsumption and marketing, while others want to raise awareness of overconsumption's environmental consequences, like climate change and collapsed fisheries. The founder of Adbusters, which organized the international event, says limited solutions like hybrid cars are insufficient and consumption must decrease to avoid environmental disaster.

100 VJETORI I PAVARSISE…
Heroi yne kombetare se bashku me ushtaret e tij me atdhetaret shqipetare
shqiperine, por me e rendesishmja ishte detyra e shqipetareve qe te mos I lejonin
pushtuesit te pushtonin vendin.
E mbas gjithe perpjekjeve dhe deshires me te madhe qe populli shqipetare kishte
'Shpalljen e pavarsise ne vend' me 28 Nentor 1912 u ngrit flamuri kuq e zi me
tyre.
Ne kete forme zemrat dhe mendjet e shqipetareve harmonizohen dhe rehatohen
me njera tjetren…
GEZOJME SE BASHKU 100 VJETORIN E PAVARSISE…
