I learned about building character through improvisation games. In one game, I had to imagine using a chair as different objects other than a chair, such as a blanket. In another game, I had to imagine having an item with me, like a green fur, and use it in improbable ways, such as offering a hamburger made from it to others who had to accept and continue the fictional scenario. While thinking of scenarios was easy, acting them out made me nervous. With more practice at acting, I hope to feel less nervous in the future.

I learned many things about
character. I did imagination game with
chair. First time we needed to imagine
things we seat. Then we needed to
imagine different things, we needed to
use chair, but we should not imagine
this is chair so I used chair like
blanket. Also, I did different game
that was we needed to imagine green fur
with something. Then we did something
like if I used green fur to hamburger I
need to ask my next person do you want
to have a hamburger? Then he/she needs
to accept. I learned that that is
accepting the fiction. He/she needs to
do action with hamburger and they need
to make new thing for next person.
Thinking was easy, but acting was
really hard. I was so nervous when I
need to act. I think I need to get used
to acting so I don’t have to be nervous
next time.
