Residential Street B-1 (22.5 m)
The 22.5-meter Residential Street provides
connectivity with on-street parking (on one
side) in the Hill Town District around the
hospital and in the East Ridge District around
open space tracks and, in some cases, along
neighborhood center plots. This street type
can also be found in the Palace Quarter. The
frontage condition is both low density and
medium density residential development on
both sides as well as residential frontage
on one side and open space on the other.
The 22.5-meter Residential Street includes
two travel lanes and one parking lane. The
pedestrian realm does not accommodate
a cycle track but slower road speeds from
traffic calming and vehicle speed restrictions
will facilitate a shared street in the travel
lanes for both vehicles and cyclists.
