CAUTION:Usenew set rings.
Adjustthe shiftcable(seesection'14,.
Adjustthethrottlecable(seesection11).
Adjustthe cruisecontrolcable(seesection23).
Refillthe enginewith engineoil (seepage8-5).
Refillthe transmissionwith fluid (seesection13,
1 4 ) .
Refillthe radiatorwith enginecoolant(seepage
10-6).
Bleedairfrom thecoolingsystemwith the heater
valveopen(seepage10-6).
Cleanthe batterypostsand cableterminalswith
sandpaper.assemblethem,thenapplygreaseto
prevenrcorroston.
Inspectfor fuelIeakage(seesection11).
Afterassemblingthetuelline,turn on {ll)the igni-
tionswitch(donotoperatethestarter)sothatthe
fuel pump runsfor approximatelytwo seconds
and the fuel line pressurizes.Repeatthis opera-
tion two or threetimes,then checkfor fuel leak-
ageat anypointin thefuelline.
