Never allow others to define you or make you a victim. Define yourself instead of borrowing definitions from others. Those who don't understand your silence likely won't understand your words. Judge yourself based on who you are for yourself rather than who others say you are. Before judging others, make sure your own hands are clean. If you can't change a situation, change your attitude rather than complaining. To truly understand someone, consider things from their perspective by figuratively walking in their shoes. While getting hurt is out of your control, you do choose who is allowed to hurt you.
