This document provides information about the 2009 Howard Park Abercrombie Cabernet Sauvignon wine. It describes the 2009 vintage as having a warm March which allowed for full ripeness in all varieties after a cool and rainy period. The grapes, which are 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, were hand-picked from vineyards in Margaret River (53%) and Mount Barker (47%) between March 30th and April 12th. The wine underwent 18 months of maturation in 70% new French oak barrels.
