The South Amboy Arena roller rink in New Jersey celebrated its 50th anniversary. Jean Burne, now 58, has owned the rink for over 30 years after her parents opened it in 1972. Burne strives to keep the rink a family-friendly place for children, teens, and adults to skate and socialize. On the anniversary night, Burne and skaters from the past several decades shared memories from over the rink's history. The rink remains an important community hub and place for special events.
