- BIGGEST EVER RECORDED IN HISTORY. biggest tsunami was 40meters, 130ftAS OF SEP 11TH.
- 1.5KM FROM FUKUSHIMA DAI ICHI, 139MICRO SIEVELT = 730MSV PER YEAR. AND MIND YOU, THE CUMULATIVE EXPOSURE LIMIT of a nuclear power plant worker in Germany is 400mSv over ones lifetime. Did I ever imagine that a day will come when i had to worry and monitor the radiation level, check the wind direction and if it was north east wind, shut all my windows and be cautious.
- Did I ever imagine that a day would come when I go into the supermarket and be scared to buy milk or mushrooms that poses higher risks of contamination of radiation ,become so afraid of the safety of the food on the store shelves
- taking samples of fish, shellfish and seaweed collected in the Pacific Ocean, 20 kilometres off Fukushima, Greenpeace sent them for analysis at independent French and Belgian laboratories. The conservation group says the results show seaweed radiation levels are 50 times higher than official limits, while other marine samples showed high levels of radioactive caesium and iodine. Greenpeace says it proves radioactivity is accumulating in marine life and not diluting, as claimed by Japanese authorities. did i ever imagine that a day would come when I hestiate to eat seafood from the north east japan where the region produces fresh good quality seafood.
