1. Sit in a circle. Clap your hands one by one.
    -   Do you think the sounds stayed the same all the
      way round?
    - What changed?
    - Did it get faster or slower?

2. Get the activity going by getting everyone to
  clap hands,stamp feet and tap thighs.

Think of a nursery rhyme.
Perform the rhyme in a creative
manner.

I spy names:
    -   Stand in a circle
    - ‘I spy someone whose name begins with…..’
       (give the sound of the first letter, then say the
      person’s name)
    - Make up a fun sentence.
       eg. Rosdy the rowdy rapper.
              Salimah slithery slimy snail.
              Jill the jolly jiggly jogger.

1. Lead mouth movements.
2. Do the following sounds:
   -   make your voice go down a slide – wheee!
   -   make your voice bounce like a ball – boing, boing!
   -   hiss like a snake
   -   keep everyone quiet – shshshsh
   -   be a steam train – chchchch
   -   be a bumble bee – zzzzzzz
   -   be an angry lion
