Are You Ready to CRUSH IT? You can do so with Christianity!
How can you Crush this journey called "Life" if Heaven is never realized?
How does "no Heaven" = Victory? It's doesn't! Losing team, right? Right!
Is it true only so-called "Good" people make it to Heaven?
Can You know for sure you will make it to Heaven? You can Know!
In this course, I’m going to take you step-by-step through a success formula which will not leave you the same person. Nor will it leave you standing on the outside of Heaven’s gates when this thing is all said and done.
No my friend! This course is going to show you the narrow way to life. Life without discovering life is not success, is it? By no means!
So, the first step: We’re going to talk about “having ears to hear.” This is necessary if you are going to make a right assessment regarding who you are, why you are here and where you are going. The only personal transformation which will matter in the end is a new creation! I’m going to show you how to get there and I’m confident you will have the ears to hear as we go over, together—this all important information for those who have ears to hear.
The second step involves changing your mind. Any person who is truly wise understands from where this wisdom comes. They adjust their thinking in order to be aligned with this wisdom. In step 2, let’s celebrate wisdom together as I encourage you to change your mind regarding its important aspects.
Once we get into Step 3, it will be time to get serious about your soul to make sure you are not gambling with it. Did you ever here, “craps!” Well, if you have or haven’t, you don’t want to come up short and bust out when it comes to your soul. You will be encouraged in this step to make the right decision—regarding your soul—in this formula of success.
Step 4 brings you to a place of reality-checking. We look over what is required to have success in the way of transformation and heaven. Taking a leap of blind faith isn’t required when you have good, solid evidence and reasons to take an active step of trust. You do it every day and in this step, you will be encouraged as I get into the trenches with you so you can surface, shining like gold!
Finally in Step 5, we’re going to make sure you proceed in a manner which will guarantee your success. Success involves victory and having a game plan. This step will give you that game plan.

The invalid reminds us that spiritually we are all suffering because of sin and that our only hope for healing is Jesus. He also reminds us that we are healed so that we can continue to walk in holiness.
When John’s disciples question him about Jesus, John exalts Jesus before them teaching them that they must hear Him, believe in Him and obey Him if they desire eternal life.
Psalm 10 deals with the wicked oppressing the poor. It provides a detailed picture of the wicked and deals with the question of where is Jehovah when bad things are happening.
Seeing all the evil in the world is vexing to the righteous. Psalm 37 teaches us that God knows what is happening, that He will act, and how we should live before Him: in trust, delight, doing right, and waiting for Him. (This lesson, for the most part, is completely the work of Joe Griffen.)
Abram’s faith was demonstrated as he looked forward to the city Jehovah promised, knowing it was really a heavenly city. We must daily think of heaven too. This lesson provides six daily reminders of heaven: Real, Depend, Enduring, Effort, Rejoicing, Refuge. Ideas of this lesson based on “Daily Thoughts of Heaven” by Glenn E. Frasier Jr. from Practical Christianity: Daily Christian Living (c) 1998 Shenandoah Church of Christ, p. 184 - 196.
Generally, we abhor the attitude of minimalism (What’s the least I can do....?) because it leads to mediocrity and complacency. Have we arrived at that place with regard to our attitude about worship? This is not about how long we worship, but our love for God and our brethren and our desire to be with Him and them. Are we so concerned about the time that we find ourselves missing out on the blessings of building up one another?
When the tribes of Israel from the east side of the Jordan returned to their home after Canaan was conquered and at peace, they built an altar as a witness that they were a part of the nation. Satan used this altar to cause the people of Israel to go into a civil war. In this lesson we learn four of Satan’s weapons to destroy the unity and peace of God’s people: 1) Adding to God’s Wisdom; 2) Rumor; 3) Assumption; and, 4) Lack of Communication.
Having conquered the land of Canaan, Joshua divides the land into the various inheritances for each tribe of Israel. In this we see that God is faithful to keep his promises (but we must be faithful no matter how long it takes)., that our inheritance is much more than we could imagine, and just like the Israelites we must continue to work.
Why does God bless those who mourn? Jesus mourned sin and the consequences of sin, reminding us that the reason we mourn is because of sin in the world, among my brethren and (especially?) my own sin. Such mourning reflects the seriousness of our failure to be holy as he is holy and the devastation of sin in this world.
You will learn from this lesson the purpose of miracles that helps us know who we are to listen to and the importance of memorials since we tend to forget what God has done for us. Joshua and the people of Israel cross over the Jordan river on dry ground, and establish a memorial with stones from the river. Then they circumcise the men and keep the Passover.
The essence of marriage is companionship. Of two people joined together as one. Aquila and Priscilla remind us of the unity we can have together in working, stress and spiritual aspects of our lives.
A DIFFERENT Gospel -2: A Different SpiritDave Stewart
Synopsis: We must be very careful that in teaching the gospel we do not teach a different gospel that leads souls away from Christ and salvation in Him. Paul warns of teaching a different Jesus, Spirit, and Gospel. This lesson focus on a different spirit.
The healing of the official’s son teaches vital lessons about what it means to seek Jesus and to believe in Jesus. It also reminds us of how great Jesus is, reminding us that our faith must be in Him because of who He is, the Christ, the Son of God.
Abiding in Jesus is vital to maintaining full joy in Him. In this passage John reminds us that we can be confident that we abide in Him because of two things God has done for us: 1) given us of His Spirit and 2) sent His Son as Savior; and two things we must do: 1) Confess Jesus is the Son of God and 2) abide in love.

What two major effects did the preaching of the Gospel have? (1-7) Why does preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ and His resurrection offend many people, and engender persecution? Should opposition or persecution discourage us from fulfilling the great commission, “to make disciples”? What encouraged Paul to pray for the crippled man? (9) Why aren’t miracles such as the healing of the crippled man characteristic in today’s churches? What was the outcome of the crippled man’s healing? (11-18) Why was Paul stoned at Lystra? (19) How did Paul survive the stoning? (19-20) What does the stoning of Paul (19) remind you of? Did the persecution dampen Paul's zeal for preaching the gospel? (21-28) Why do you think this was so? Describe the Pauline strategy of evangelization and establishing local churches. Compare what you observe of Paul’s strategy with what characterizes most modern missions. Why do you think most mission boards and agencies do not follow the model found in Acts?

Why do we slip into the thinking of Cain so easily and find ourselves alone? Being brothers is not easy, but let brotherly love continue.
Of all the metaphors for believers, the one most often used in the NT is “adelphos” (siblings, brothers and sisters). After Jesus’ ascension the company who gathered in the upper room consisted of both men and women, and Peter calls all of them brethren. In Acts 15, both Jewish believers and Gentile believers are called brethren.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
