The document describes the operation of the STTd electric power steering strategy. It provides context on the evolution of the STT architecture and defines the functional requirements and operation of the STTd mode. Specifically:
- It describes managing electric consumption by ramping down assistance over T_tot_ramp_down (default 600ms) and ramping up over T_tot_ramp_up (default 500ms) to stay below 500mA consumption.
- It defines requirements to compute engine stop authorization and restart requests based on parameters like vehicle speed, steering wheel angle/speed/torque, respecting voltage profiles for activation/deactivation.
- It outlines failure modes around power cut requests and CAN bus communication
The document describes the electric power steering (EPS) strategy for a vehicle with Stop and Start Technology (STT). It outlines the architecture and interfaces of the EPS system, including external interfaces to other vehicle systems and internal interfaces. The EPS strategy aims to manage electric consumption during vehicle stop and restart phases by deactivating steering assistance to meet voltage profile requirements. It computes authorization for the engine to stop and requests to restart the engine based on defined priorities, an EPS defect status, and engine flow requests.
1. The document is a user manual for the DC4xD MK3 genset controller.
2. It provides instructions and specifications for the controller, including display features, protection functions, parameter options, installation guidelines, and wiring diagrams.
3. The controller is available in multiple models and is designed to monitor and control generators with options for remote control and communication.
Implementation and Validation of SAE J1850 (VPW) Protocol Solution for Diagno...IRJET Journal
This document discusses the implementation and validation of the SAE J1850 (VPW) protocol for vehicle diagnosis applications. It describes using the protocol to communicate between an onboard ECU and a personal computer via an OBD device. The system hardware uses a Freescale processor with a built-in BDLC module to implement the J1850 (VPW) protocol at 10.4 kbps. Firmware is developed using VxWorks RTOS to handle communication between the host, I/O system, and J1850 driver. The project setup allows a host computer to request parameters from a simulated ECU by transmitting frames over USB and J1850 interfaces.
