The following presentation highlights many of the skills I used in the course of developing my
Senior Capstone Project: “Health Tracker, Healthcare Software Application.” A review of the
document “Healthcare Tracker App: Full Report” (located in my LinkedIn profile) will provide a
complete demonstration of the skills I employed during the completion of this project.

2. Systems Analysis and Design (SDLC)
The project manuscript describes in detail how each of the four phases of the systems development
life cycle (planning, analysis, design, and implementation) was executed during the course of this project.
This project employed a systems development methodology from the structured design category called Waterfall
Development because this methodology is designed for software development and it is well established.

3. Project Management (WBS, Gantt chart)
Also, this project was a Traditional Project Management type due to its low complexity, few expected scope
changes, understood technologies or alternative strategies, low risk based on requirements and functionality,
and a complete project plan was able to be developed.
This project followed the Linear Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) model because this project had a
clearly defined goal, solution, requirements, functions, and features.
