project that you are proud of?
Have you contributed to open source?
Have you heard of udemy or udacity or other such online learning options?

Do you have good communication skills, well practiced presentation
skills and practice of attending an interview?

which is professional?

How many pages is your resume ? Have not more then 2 pages of
resume.
Have the list of technologies that you are very aware of and not all
the names that you have read! Have special projects that you have
undertaken listed in your resume.
If you have won positions in hackathon(s) others , mention them.
If you have participated in conferences, hackathon(s) and made
submissions but did not win, list the submissions.
Make sure your linked in profile is professionally done.
Get yourself a professional email address - If you still use an old
email address, like Babydoll@gmail.com or CuteChick@yahoo.com,
it's time to pick a new one.

Practice mock interviews in groups, if possible have observers
telling you what you did right and what you did not do well. Be
candid.
Develop your communication skills, use any opportunity that you
may have to hone your verbal and written communications skills.
Show professionalism in your actions, you will have to practice it
hard.

Can you effectively utilize your network to achieve your own
objectives?

The resume that is referred by internal candidate has higher
chances of getting attention then other resumes – company referral
bonus proves win-win for both organization and employee.
Many companies today have hackathons, coding contests etc which
are not just good platforms to hone your skills, learn what new
problems people are trying to solve but also give yourself opportunity
to get hired!!!
