School Presentation on the United States Baseball Academy and High School

10.  Ages: Middle School to High School
 Student-athletes must pass an entrance exam.
 Must submit a video of their overall baseball skill level.
 Required to submit a essay explaining why they should be admitted.
 Must be in good standing academically from their previous schooling.
 A student-athlete will NOT be admitted if they have a previous record of poor
behavior in a school. Moral’s and ethical behavior is very important.
 Ability to pay tuition fee (student athletes are loan eligible and with the
support of Major League Baseball, hopefully this fee will be waived .)

11.  The best education and coaching available(classroom size 12-1).12 coaches
per academy.
 Will follow in accordance to NCAA regulations in order to ensure each
student-athlete is college ready and eligible.
 Course load will consist of education in math, science, history, english,as
well as other college prep education and electives.
 Will be held to high standards. Skipping class and practice without
reasonable excuse will NOT be tolerated.
 Must maintain a 2.5 GPA in order to remain at the academy.
 Coaches will be former players and coaches. Proven record of success.
 Access to the best colleges and universities in the country upon graduation.

12.  To Improve the game of baseball in the United States.
 To give kids, who normally wouldn’t be afforded the opportunity to
play the game of baseball, a chance.
 Gain the support of the MLB and make this a tuition free educational
institution.
 Challenge and push our student-athletes to become the best they
can be both academically and athletically.
 Develop young adults into outstanding citizens.
 Provide avenues for young adults to attend college.
 Give support in anyway possible in order to see our children
succeed.
