Descriptive Essay : A Day At The Beach
A day at the beach
The place that is peaceful in its own ways. It is the place to go to get away from our jobs and
everyday duties. It is the place where we can sit and think the best. A place where nothing matters
but what is in that little moment. This place is called the beach. A trip to the beach can be
successful if you make the right preparations and find activities to do during the day and night.
Nature is so beautiful and to witness it, there is no more beautiful place then a beach or watching a
sun set on a beach. For some reason, I have been attached to the beach so much and even though I
don't know swimming, surfing or any kind of water sports. I enjoy by watching waves, smell of
water and sand and the cold breeze of fresh air. I recently planned a trip to Clearwater beach in
Florida and it was a experience, I won't forget in my entire life. Such a beautiful place and if you are
a big fan of water sports, it is a must go place, I suggest. In the childhood we see cartoons on tv and
how they describe beach for example, red sky in the evening, waves colliding with each other and
it made me a big fan of the water ends. True beauty of the ocean is beneath the sea, it's called coral
reefs or sea plants which are the colorful bunch of plants growing under the salty water of the ocean.
It is a feeling where we are stunned watching the gloriousness and it makes us think to capture
each and every moment we see and we enjoy. It is a place where I wish I could be there each and
every day. As soon as you reach there and stepped out of your car, first thing you noticed is the
texture of the beauty. White sand, blue sky and the pleasure to be there. First step on the sand, no
footwears on your feet and as soon as you put your feet on the sand, such a feel of a piece of
velvet on the floor with rose petals on it and you feel like you could stand like that for the whole
day. The sand was still warm due to the heat. It was a complete free of cost feet massage. Place
was surrounded by all kind of people. Old, young kids, teenagers, sweet couples having their good
time. Touching the sand is like touching sugar, it's very grainy but don't taste it! You can feel the hot
sand between your toes. A warm and muggy day was

Descriptive Essay : A Long Day At The Beach
Labor day weekend at the beach, families and all of their belongings gather here for the long
weekend. It is 1:32pm on Saturday, it is not cloudy but clouds are present. The sun is warm and
intensely strong, but there is a pleasant breeze keeping the sun from growing too unbearably hot.
The waves are at most 3 feet tall and the ocean water is generally flat. The sand is littered with beach
debris such as brown dried seaweed and various forms of trash. No large pieces of trash are apparent
though. There are about 4 sets of tire tracks in the sand from lifeguards or beach patrol passing by.
There are various forms of shorebirds circling above the ocean. The smell of salt water and sunscreen
fill the air.
In the water there are two boogie borders in wetsuits surfing the waves, appears to be a boy and girl.
A mother in a striped tankini, and her daughter who is roughly 5 in a flowery bikini, jump in the
waves. There is one surfer who catches waves every 5 minutes or so, but can never ride them long
enough because the waves crash so closely to the shore. A man is sun bathing in front of me; all he
has is a towel and a small backpack with him.
To my left are what I am assuming to be 2–3 different families who came for a beach trip, two men,
two women, three children. The little girl (roughly 5 who was in the water with her mother a
moment ago) dug a whole and her older brother (6–7) filled it with sand. She started to cry when she
noticed. Her mom demanded he re–dig the hole for her. He also then cries. One of the older men
who is apart of the group is drinking a beer, he has a fishing pole beside him that is not in use. He
is wearing yellow board shorts with white Hawaiian flowers on them. He is consistently talking
about a trip he took to China. There is another other man in the group and he is attempting to fly a
kite, but is having troubles getting the kite itself into the air. The kite is triangularly shaped with a
blue spiral on it and a green background; there is a short tail to the kite with red ribbons along it.
Two of the kids are now in front of me playing with green and yellow small shovels. They have zinc
on their faces to protect against the sun. They do not dig anything; just move sand around with

Descriptive Essay About A Day At The Beach
Throughout my life I have been to many beaches, but a few stand out. The select few that stand
out are because of the memories I've made there, they are the ones I will never forget. Each beach
has its unique value to itself and to me. The one thing all beaches have in common is they are filled
with an obscene amount of people, but hold the most memories. Throughout the years, the beach has
taught me some lessons of independence, which I will be able to use in the future. Overall, the beach
is best spent with friends and family enjoying the water and its transition of a hectic day time to a
peaceful nighttime.
Day, time, temperature, and even the people who I'm with all play an important role in
determining how the day at the beach will go. During the day, the smell of sunscreen overcomes
the salty air as the sun intensifies, the seagulls screech louder as they look for food, and the
waves crash faster. The waves also help set the tone for a day at the beach. With strong waves
rolling through its just a matter of time before you get pulled under and turned upside down. These
are the moments that fill me with panic, not knowing which way is up and when I'll turn back to
the surface. The adrenaline rush of being in the ocean, jumping over and diving under the waves is
the best feeling. Strong, fast waves are always the best, but unfortunately there are weak waves too.
Though, weak waves can be boring there are many things to do other than go in the water. With
weak waves,

A Day At A Beach In The Bahamas
When the sun begins to hide behind the horizon there is only one environment on the planet that
harnesses the power to leave oneself in complete and utter awe. This one of a kind place captures
all of the elements in their perfect and most striking form. The sky bolsters with eloquent colors, the
warm sand caresses your toes, and the soothing waves break with the most perfect noise as to not
break your focus on the sunset; it is just as captivating as a north poles aurora borealis. A certain
feeling drifts along through a slight breeze on this sunset beach as you observe the sunset above the
water. It is a warm and comforting feeling that most people can relate to when they experience the
affects of love for the first time; a sudden rush of...show more content...
One can agree that during the day, the beach can be a noisy place: music, kids, and talkative
individuals can all make a difference in the pleasantness of your beach day. During the day in the
Bahamas it is quite loud due to the numerous tourists in the area who want to party and have a
good time, but at dusk, it stops. Little by little the beach gets less populated with clamorous
people and feels more like your own oasis. You begin to hone in on the sounds: the rave music is
now more calming; it is maybe playing reggae or something else soothing. The seagulls seem to
chirp less, and you are suddenly all alone. As you walk down the beach waiting for the sun to set you
feel the softness of the sand, and look back to see how your feet have been molded to become one
with the beach. When the sun sets and the sky radiates comforting colors, you begin to feel
different: the beach resonates the warmth of the sky through your feet, up into your heart. You
look around and see the landscape of the beach has been made lively by the colors of the sky. The
rocks blush from the sky's red tint, and the palm trees look to be slow dancing in the warming
breeze. Your body is captured by good feelings and is hypnotized by the sunset's effect on this beach.
There is still one last element to the whole picture

A Day at the Beach
The sun's rays glisten across the water as my family and I lie on the golden sands of the beach to
relax. Seagulls and other families are scattered around us along the length of the beach. My mom,
my sister, and I lie next to each other, listening to the waves crashing against the ocean bank.
I remember the day the horrible news arrived. I stood in the kitchen waiting for my father to arrive
home from work.
Once he arrived, he and Mother sat me down and hesitated, "Your mom has been diagnosed with
breast cancer. Several things around here will be changing. They will be changing very fast due to
the aggressive treatment she will be going through."
Tears filled my eyes as I wondered, Why is this happening to myfamily? What will happen to my
family, and when will this be over? I sat at the table, unable to speak a single word. The emotion
had overcome me like the waves of the ocean now breaking on the shore. My father and brother
are very far out in the deep waters searching for seashells and any aquatic life swimming through
the warm, ocean waters. Back on the shore, my mother, my sister, and I are tanning and reading
magazines that we grabbed at the hotel. On the cover of the magazine in bold letters it says
"SURGERY." It reminds me of the day Mother got her surgery. She and Father left very early that
morning to drive to Apple Hill Surgical center. My parents warned us to behave and that my sister
was in charge for the day. My brother and I would have to behave or we

I stretched my arms out and looked up and down the beach. Although I lived in Waikiki for years,
it'd been far too long since I took a vacation, let alone the beach, since I'm dealing with
neverending piles of school assignments and activities. As I strolled along the coastline I can feel
the soft smooth sand beneath my feet. I was taken in by the soothing atmosphere that encircled me.
I closed my eyes, letting myself absorb the blistering rays of the sun on a scorching summer day.
The beach was oddly quiet for this time of that year, only a handful of people sunbathing. I didn't
mind, I was going to enjoy myself.
I headed out to the water after setting up my towel. The shock of the frigid water took my breath
away and I was momentarily stunned. However, I quickly recovered; finding my body adjusts
rapidly to the cold water. I waded a few feet into it before leaning forward and swimming out. I
didn't dare to go too far though, instead turning to swim parallel to the shore. I was comforted by
the sounds of the ocean; the rhythmic pounding of the waves represses all of my worries. I looked
into the cloudless cerulean blue sky and see the perfection of life. Just when I was starting to get
tired and wanted to go back to the shore, I saw something.
Off the distance of the coastline, there was...show more content...

Essay about A Perfect Day in the Ocean
A Perfect Day in the Ocean
As I watch, the waves from the shore look fun and almost innocent as they crest and then crash
over one another. I can taste the salt in they air and watch little rainbows glisten through the prisms
of the ocean's spray. The warm ocean water toward the shore is covered with foam and bubbles
from the rumbling waves as children and their families play in the gritty tan colored sand. I think to
myself, "This is perfect".
I make the final preparations on my Yamaha Waverunner. All of the fluid levelscheck full and there
is a faint smell of gasoline mixed with the aromas of salt and fish in the air. I am now ready to
brave and jump the mighty ocean waves of South Padre Island!
Before the truck backs the...show more content...
I navigate my way through the docks until I am in the channel. I can now press the throttle and
hang on for a fun ride! While the waves through the exit channel are only half of the size of the
ocean's mighty waves, this gives me time to warm up and get in sync with the powerful 135 horse
powered Waverunner. I am now ready to take on the Gulf of Mexico!
I drive out far enough to stay out of the foamy white surf. Suddenly, the ocean begins to crest
around me. As I drive into the waves, I am careful to only depress the throttle to a maximum of
half power. Any more would be foolish and could cause a wipeout. I approach a wave with a
perfect peak and at the ideal time. I gently squeeze the throttle and the loud roar of the engine fills
my ears as the power pushes me up to the foamy white crest of the wave.
In an instant, I am no longer floating on the water, but I am soaring like the beautiful white birds
through the misty air. In one brief moment, I look down and estimate that I am eight to ten feet in
the air for a split second before I begin my descent back to the briny waters. In a flash the back end
of the Waverunner sits down into the ocean with the front following in a rocking motion. All around
me is a fine spray of the salty water. I have landed!

A Perfect Summer At The Beach
A Perfect Summer at the Beach
The sun peeked through my bedroom window; time to get up! The day was warm and gorgeous. It
was the perfect weather to go to the beach. I woke up early and prepare our breakfast, so we can eat
first before we leave. I can smell the eggs and bacon sizzling in a pan. The aroma of freshly brewed
coffee makes my day complete. The pancake oozing with butter and maple syrup is ready to
serve. I also prepare a fresh squeezed orange juice for the kids. When I was cooking everybody is
starting to wake up. We are planning to go to the Narragansett beach with thefamily. Everything is
all packed and ready to go. The kids are very excited; they help me to organize all the stuff that we
needed since last night. After we eat our breakfast the kids immediately go to their bedroom and

We arrive on time at my father–in–law's house. As we expected my sister–in–law Kylie is late again.
She never been on time whenever we have a family gathering. The funny part is she is the one who
suggested that we should meet in my father–in–law's house around 9:30 in the morning but she
never made it on time. While we are waiting, I finally had a glimpse of my father–in–law's

Personal Narrative Essay : A Trip To The Beach
It's a very warm typical July day. There is a big hurricane in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. I can
guarantee that there are so many people going to the beach. After Joey thought that he grabbed his
necklace off his nightstand and put it around his neck and held the cross for a few seconds more
than he usually does everyday.
"Cole let's go to the beach, the waves are like 7 to 8 feet!" Joey exclaimed to Cole over the text. Joey
rode his bike over to Cole's house.
"Joey I'm asking my dad to drive us to the beach I don't want to ride my bike." Joey looks at the
waves and gets scared.
"Dude, where are we going to put our things it's packed?"
Cole unpacked the bags with the boards in them. Joey and Cole went to the shore to get their fins
and fin socks on. Joey got his fins on first and started to paddle out. The current was insane. Cole
was following Joey out to where the waves were starting to form. Joey got a nice wave and had a
barrel. The current was so strong that Joey had an idea. His idea was to go on the right side of the
jetty and tried to get pulled to the left and land where everyone else is. Cole told him before they
went to the beach because he knew that there was a current. It was not a good idea because if a
wave came, he could get smashed into it. Joey was not acting smart, so he decided to not listen to
Cole. Joey walked over to the left side of the jetty.
"Cole are you, coming?" Joey exclaimed.
Cole just ignored Joey. Joey was so excited because he

'' Wake up, wake up you lazy kids'' my mum said, ''we are going to the beach". My sister, my two
brothers, and I woke with extreme energy, happy because it was the first time we visit the beach that
summer. The day dawned bright, the sky was painted in bright blue; the beautiful sun was gleaming
and shining gloriously. It was idyllic for a picnic by the sea. We quickly packed our stuff, we
took some snacks and swimming outfits, and of course chair decks; we took a fast breakfast, and
then we headed to the beach. I was very excited because it was my first summer without the safety

The waves became higher and stronger. They started to pull my small body further and further in
the sea away from the shoreline. They were not that peaceful as I thought. The beastly waves were
endless; they were hitting my face and my little body from everywhere. I had my heart in my
mouth. The waves were pulling my small fragile body to the deep–sea world. I was losing the ability
to swim, and I started swallowing salty water that burned my throat (turned my throat on fire). I
was weak as a kitten. No one could see me. I was struggling for my life. I was screaming and
shouting for help but no one could hear me. I was in the middle of the empty. I watched in
despair my life fading away from me. I was filled with dread because I was too small to die, and I
wanted to see my family again. For a moment, I was convinced that I will not have the opportunity
to discover the adventures of life. The sorrowful good–byes of life continued for several minutes
before a lifeguard sent from heaven saved me. He put me on his shoulders, and swam all the way
back to the shore. It took us few minutes to get there. When I saw my mom I hugged her and I

I walked along the beach. As I was walking I could feel the fresh smell of the beach like it was an air
freshener but it also smelled that gave me a tingle in my nose. As I kept walking along the beach I
could feel the light breeze coming against me. This fresh air felt warm as I felt like I was sleeping in
a comfortable bed. I kept walking in the beach, as I did it felt like an escape to all my problems and
also my stress. Beach felt like a solution to all my problems and could be open with anything.
As I stroll along, I could feel the soft smooth sand under my feet. The sand was very hot and I
walked through it felt like I was walking on a burning grill. The sand was mixed with a different
coloured shells. The light from the sun shined on the shell which reflected onto me creating a
rainbow. My foot was making marks on the beach as I took every step, these marks remained
there until the water came and erased it away. As I kept walking, I looked around and it felt like I
was having the best time of life. The bright shining sun went through my cold skin and give me a
feeling of excitement. When I kept walking I could see the birds roaming around the sky like a pack
of wolves making irritating squeaky noises as it is hungry and trying to find its prey. The sky
turned from dark blue sky to a bright shimmery blue sky. Soft, fluffy big clouds were covering the
sky, as it started to split away. As it split away, the sun restored and shined on the waves and the
cold water started boiling. As these waves dashed, the noises soothed me every time.
I began walking towards the beach and I stopped at the edge of the beach where I decided to put
my toes in the water. As soon as my toes in the water I got this light shiver in my body, where I
felt like it touched my soul. I could feel softness when the water covers my leg. At this time, I
could remember the time when I used to play with sand and water. I decide to come close to the
beach and I could hear fishes screaming frightened of their preys that is looking to eat them. These
birds have been trying to find their lunch as they are hungry for it. I can see the dolphins jumping
around with a smile on their life. It feels like they having the best time of their life, as

Descriptive Essay : A Trip To The Beach
They way I see things, life is different at the beach. Time doesn't move hour to hour, but moment
to moment. We live by the whipping currents, play by the ever changing tides, and follow the
direction of the yellow globe in the sky. In my experience, trips to the beach never fail to make my
heart giddy and rid my life of any obstacles, at least temporarily. For me, looking out at the
never–ending ocean is like looking through a special pair of glasses. I see the world with a
different point of view. Everything seems peaceful and serene; nothing is too troubled and no one
too anxious. A trip to the beach will completely overwhelm your senses. What do I get most anxious
about when I go to the beach? Sprinting, tearing, racing to the ocean. Regarding nothing but the
crystal blue, balmy, water and feeling pure contentment. But in my rush to get to the water, my
care for the sights around me seem to slip my mind. I glance around, and at first sight one might
see a few teenagers on summer break, in their Nemo colored swimsuits and shameless black
sunglasses, gamboling around and bubbling with joy. You might see the few mothers daring enough
to bring their giggling toddlers, in bright bubblegum pink hats that match the shade of their sweet,
sunburnt, little, cheeks. Look around a little bit more. Open your eyes a little wider. Skim the
surface of the water topped with chalky white foam and teeming with meager, little creatures of the
sea whose shells spiral around like a staircase in the most grand of castles for the most grand of
princesses. Watch the thick, waterlogged sand castles crash against the cozy, pristine sand beneath
your feet. Scan the sky and take a minute to notice the alabaster white seagulls that cackle above
your head and cheat french fries out of the hands of awestruck tourists. Stare out at the mysterious
crashing waves and take note of the ash colored pelicans flinging themselves into the water with a
splash and reappearing with an outstretched beak full of terrified fish. Now inch forward into the
icy water. Feel the rush of the waves as they try to sweep you into the ocean. Try to stay balanced as
the sand teams up with them and races out from beneath your feet. Close your eyes and let the

Descriptive Essay On The Beach Clean Up
The majority of the things I did involved trash clean up. Me and my friends all went to these
different venues, or rather locations and helped with the cleanup cause. What happened as we go
there we had to put on gloves, we were provided plastic bags as well as these hooks which we
used to pick up trash from the ground. For three hours we looked around the beaches or parks
where we were stitone at and gathered trash. While this may sound very boring to begin with, the
whole experience was very soothing as the general walks across the ocean front, along with my
friends, make everything a lot more soothing. This was only for the beach clean up, for other
activities like the planting different plants I felt more productive in that situation. According to the
people there, they said that there was a certain type of caterpillar who were going there. These
caterpillars needed these specific flowers to setup a cocoon and be ready for blooming into a
butterfly in the spring. I thought this was much more interesting than the regular beach clean up due
to the fact that in this situation we actually helped an endangered species from the overcrowding of a
invasive species that was halting its growth. With a further prospering of the plants the butterflies
can further live on and will be one step further away from endangerment.
Biology is the study of life. Everything i did the during my service hours involve me interacting
with the environment in fear for your life around me. In biology we learned about how different
things interact in environment, while I was at the beach I saw how the caterpillars kind of
codependent on the plans that we are planting this was life. Moreover, we saw how we calculated in
the environment or the region interacted with the plans. Also wish I had the invasive species, were
interrupting the growth of the plants that the caterpillars were depended upon. While in the semester,
the only plant related things that we learned about the plant cells in photosynthesis, we just learned
about the different trophic levels. We learned about how with each level you go up or down vice
versa you either gain or lose the lot of energy that was in the previous tropical lov while in the
semester, the only plant

Descriptive Essay : A Day At The Beach
A day at the beach It was a rainy day and all I could do was stare at the clouds pass by through the
window. Ever since I had surgery on my thigh all I could do was stay inside. The blank walls in
the hospital has consumed me completely. All I wanted to do was spend a day at the beach like I
used to. Looking at the ranges of blue spread out around the horizon. Saw water run against the sand,
the salty air and brightly lit sun. An empty beach, the perfect time to enjoy the water under the sun.
The ocean breeze which I haven't felt in a long time could bring back the colors that I haven't
seen in a while. It would make me feel healthier, having the cold water tickle my skin as I sit on
the rough sand. Inhaling the salty yet refreshing air around me. If only I could run into the water
right now, have the cold water against my skin. Relaxing my tense body that's lying in this
hospital bed. As soon as my feet touch the water, I know for a fact that my whole body would
want to touch the water completely submerging myself in the water. The sensation of the water
under the warm sun would be the greatest feeling yet. My legs began to move as I migrated to an
area where my feet could not feel the rough sand. I know I would likely hold my breath and try to
pretend I was a mermaid that could breathe under water. Noticing a school of fish that always pass
by in the water. Their beautiful silver scales that attract the light from the sun that gives them a

Descriptive Essay : A Day At The Beach
As I stood there, on the beach, glancing at the ocean in awe of the beautiful sight, a sudden gust of
wind blew past me. Each individual strand of my hair crossed my face, the sun played peek–a–boo
as it made its appearance just above the horizon, as if it were too scared to show its' beautiful light.
The smell of the sea filled my nose as I took in the fresh air. The sand was filled with corals, with a
collection of many sea shells, all of which had their own uniqueness in shape, size and color;
however, the sand felt like a bed full of soft comforters. The way the ice–cold water moved the sand
and flowed onto my feet and between my toes, made my heart race. It was as soft and delicate as
a newborn; the tiny grains of sand were so fine that it could not possibly be seen without a
microscope. The waves sounded as if they were singing a soothing song to me, causing me to
look back on all of my past memories and drawing me closer to them. They were inviting me in
with their eternal arms, but my feet could not listen because the frigid waves penetrated my feet. It
was as if I were stuck. My feet were planted, my feet would not move. It was as if they were frozen
to the ground and could not possibly take a step, therefore, I sat down, watching the sun rise higher
and higher, lighting up the beautiful morning sky. As the time gradually went by, the warm rays of
sun glowed; with a cheerful, good morning, reaching down towards me and shining a beam of light
towards

My Family Vacation To The Beach
The time has finally come to embark on your family vacation to the beach, and it could not come
any sooner. You've longed to feel the ocean breeze on your face and the sand between your toes for
weeks now, and frankly, this vacation has been your motivating force throughout this past semester.
The unendurable pain of term papers and lectures has barely impacted you, as you have spent
basically the entirety of every class daydreaming about your ever–approaching trip. The warmth of
the sun, the splashing of the waves, the bustle of the marina, the smell of the air – all of these
features of the trip seem irresistible. However, it is imperative that you make sure to keep your head
on straight. All of these pastimes look fun in the moment, but if you do not keep up with the most
important task of the trip, you could suffer some consequences in the end. This task easily could
make or break the whole vacation: putting on sunscreen. You don't want to return home covered in
blisters, bumps, and boiling pain, so do the right thing. Putting on sunscreen is a good deed, so
you better slather on the good stuff now, or you'll get burned later. Despite the excitement of
indulging in a week full of seashells and coconuts, a lot of ways to potentially muddy the crystal
clear waters of your caribbean getaway come to the surface. Did everyone remember their swim
trunks and flip flops, and did the plants get watered and the cats fed? What if someone gets injured,
or what if it rains all week?

  • 2. Descriptive Essay : A Day At The Beach A day at the beach The place that is peaceful in its own ways. It is the place to go to get away from our jobs and everyday duties. It is the place where we can sit and think the best. A place where nothing matters but what is in that little moment. This place is called the beach. A trip to the beach can be successful if you make the right preparations and find activities to do during the day and night. Nature is so beautiful and to witness it, there is no more beautiful place then a beach or watching a sun set on a beach. For some reason, I have been attached to the beach so much and even though I don't know swimming, surfing or any kind of water sports. I enjoy by watching waves, smell of water and sand and the cold breeze of fresh air. I recently planned a trip to Clearwater beach in Florida and it was a experience, I won't forget in my entire life. Such a beautiful place and if you are a big fan of water sports, it is a must go place, I suggest. In the childhood we see cartoons on tv and how they describe beach for example, red sky in the evening, waves colliding with each other and it made me a big fan of the water ends. True beauty of the ocean is beneath the sea, it's called coral reefs or sea plants which are the colorful bunch of plants growing under the salty water of the ocean. It is a feeling where we are stunned watching the gloriousness and it makes us think to capture each and every moment we see and we enjoy. It is a place where I wish I could be there each and every day. As soon as you reach there and stepped out of your car, first thing you noticed is the texture of the beauty. White sand, blue sky and the pleasure to be there. First step on the sand, no footwears on your feet and as soon as you put your feet on the sand, such a feel of a piece of velvet on the floor with rose petals on it and you feel like you could stand like that for the whole day. The sand was still warm due to the heat. It was a complete free of cost feet massage. Place was surrounded by all kind of people. Old, young kids, teenagers, sweet couples having their good time. Touching the sand is like touching sugar, it's very grainy but don't taste it! You can feel the hot sand between your toes. A warm and muggy day was Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 4. Descriptive Essay : A Long Day At The Beach Labor day weekend at the beach, families and all of their belongings gather here for the long weekend. It is 1:32pm on Saturday, it is not cloudy but clouds are present. The sun is warm and intensely strong, but there is a pleasant breeze keeping the sun from growing too unbearably hot. The waves are at most 3 feet tall and the ocean water is generally flat. The sand is littered with beach debris such as brown dried seaweed and various forms of trash. No large pieces of trash are apparent though. There are about 4 sets of tire tracks in the sand from lifeguards or beach patrol passing by. There are various forms of shorebirds circling above the ocean. The smell of salt water and sunscreen fill the air. In the water there are two boogie borders in wetsuits surfing the waves, appears to be a boy and girl. A mother in a striped tankini, and her daughter who is roughly 5 in a flowery bikini, jump in the waves. There is one surfer who catches waves every 5 minutes or so, but can never ride them long enough because the waves crash so closely to the shore. A man is sun bathing in front of me; all he has is a towel and a small backpack with him. To my left are what I am assuming to be 2–3 different families who came for a beach trip, two men, two women, three children. The little girl (roughly 5 who was in the water with her mother a moment ago) dug a whole and her older brother (6–7) filled it with sand. She started to cry when she noticed. Her mom demanded he re–dig the hole for her. He also then cries. One of the older men who is apart of the group is drinking a beer, he has a fishing pole beside him that is not in use. He is wearing yellow board shorts with white Hawaiian flowers on them. He is consistently talking about a trip he took to China. There is another other man in the group and he is attempting to fly a kite, but is having troubles getting the kite itself into the air. The kite is triangularly shaped with a blue spiral on it and a green background; there is a short tail to the kite with red ribbons along it. Two of the kids are now in front of me playing with green and yellow small shovels. They have zinc on their faces to protect against the sun. They do not dig anything; just move sand around with Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Descriptive Essay About A Day At The Beach Throughout my life I have been to many beaches, but a few stand out. The select few that stand out are because of the memories I've made there, they are the ones I will never forget. Each beach has its unique value to itself and to me. The one thing all beaches have in common is they are filled with an obscene amount of people, but hold the most memories. Throughout the years, the beach has taught me some lessons of independence, which I will be able to use in the future. Overall, the beach is best spent with friends and family enjoying the water and its transition of a hectic day time to a peaceful nighttime. Day, time, temperature, and even the people who I'm with all play an important role in determining how the day at the beach will go. During the day, the smell of sunscreen overcomes the salty air as the sun intensifies, the seagulls screech louder as they look for food, and the waves crash faster. The waves also help set the tone for a day at the beach. With strong waves rolling through its just a matter of time before you get pulled under and turned upside down. These are the moments that fill me with panic, not knowing which way is up and when I'll turn back to the surface. The adrenaline rush of being in the ocean, jumping over and diving under the waves is the best feeling. Strong, fast waves are always the best, but unfortunately there are weak waves too. Though, weak waves can be boring there are many things to do other than go in the water. With weak waves, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. A Day At A Beach In The Bahamas When the sun begins to hide behind the horizon there is only one environment on the planet that harnesses the power to leave oneself in complete and utter awe. This one of a kind place captures all of the elements in their perfect and most striking form. The sky bolsters with eloquent colors, the warm sand caresses your toes, and the soothing waves break with the most perfect noise as to not break your focus on the sunset; it is just as captivating as a north poles aurora borealis. A certain feeling drifts along through a slight breeze on this sunset beach as you observe the sunset above the water. It is a warm and comforting feeling that most people can relate to when they experience the affects of love for the first time; a sudden rush of...show more content... One can agree that during the day, the beach can be a noisy place: music, kids, and talkative individuals can all make a difference in the pleasantness of your beach day. During the day in the Bahamas it is quite loud due to the numerous tourists in the area who want to party and have a good time, but at dusk, it stops. Little by little the beach gets less populated with clamorous people and feels more like your own oasis. You begin to hone in on the sounds: the rave music is now more calming; it is maybe playing reggae or something else soothing. The seagulls seem to chirp less, and you are suddenly all alone. As you walk down the beach waiting for the sun to set you feel the softness of the sand, and look back to see how your feet have been molded to become one with the beach. When the sun sets and the sky radiates comforting colors, you begin to feel different: the beach resonates the warmth of the sky through your feet, up into your heart. You look around and see the landscape of the beach has been made lively by the colors of the sky. The rocks blush from the sky's red tint, and the palm trees look to be slow dancing in the warming breeze. Your body is captured by good feelings and is hypnotized by the sunset's effect on this beach. There is still one last element to the whole picture Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. A Day at the Beach The sun's rays glisten across the water as my family and I lie on the golden sands of the beach to relax. Seagulls and other families are scattered around us along the length of the beach. My mom, my sister, and I lie next to each other, listening to the waves crashing against the ocean bank. I remember the day the horrible news arrived. I stood in the kitchen waiting for my father to arrive home from work. Once he arrived, he and Mother sat me down and hesitated, "Your mom has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Several things around here will be changing. They will be changing very fast due to the aggressive treatment she will be going through." Tears filled my eyes as I wondered, Why is this happening to myfamily? What will happen to my family, and when will this be over? I sat at the table, unable to speak a single word. The emotion had overcome me like the waves of the ocean now breaking on the shore. My father and brother are very far out in the deep waters searching for seashells and any aquatic life swimming through the warm, ocean waters. Back on the shore, my mother, my sister, and I are tanning and reading magazines that we grabbed at the hotel. On the cover of the magazine in bold letters it says "SURGERY." It reminds me of the day Mother got her surgery. She and Father left very early that morning to drive to Apple Hill Surgical center. My parents warned us to behave and that my sister was in charge for the day. My brother and I would have to behave or we Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 10. Personal Narrative Essay: A Day At The Beach I stretched my arms out and looked up and down the beach. Although I lived in Waikiki for years, it'd been far too long since I took a vacation, let alone the beach, since I'm dealing with neverending piles of school assignments and activities. As I strolled along the coastline I can feel the soft smooth sand beneath my feet. I was taken in by the soothing atmosphere that encircled me. I closed my eyes, letting myself absorb the blistering rays of the sun on a scorching summer day. The beach was oddly quiet for this time of that year, only a handful of people sunbathing. I didn't mind, I was going to enjoy myself. I headed out to the water after setting up my towel. The shock of the frigid water took my breath away and I was momentarily stunned. However, I quickly recovered; finding my body adjusts rapidly to the cold water. I waded a few feet into it before leaning forward and swimming out. I didn't dare to go too far though, instead turning to swim parallel to the shore. I was comforted by the sounds of the ocean; the rhythmic pounding of the waves represses all of my worries. I looked into the cloudless cerulean blue sky and see the perfection of life. Just when I was starting to get tired and wanted to go back to the shore, I saw something. Off the distance of the coastline, there was...show more content... Those who are young with energy and risk takers, revel in a hearty chase. • 11. Essay about A Perfect Day in the Ocean A Perfect Day in the Ocean As I watch, the waves from the shore look fun and almost innocent as they crest and then crash over one another. I can taste the salt in they air and watch little rainbows glisten through the prisms of the ocean's spray. The warm ocean water toward the shore is covered with foam and bubbles from the rumbling waves as children and their families play in the gritty tan colored sand. I think to myself, "This is perfect". I make the final preparations on my Yamaha Waverunner. All of the fluid levelscheck full and there is a faint smell of gasoline mixed with the aromas of salt and fish in the air. I am now ready to brave and jump the mighty ocean waves of South Padre Island! Before the truck backs the...show more content... I navigate my way through the docks until I am in the channel. I can now press the throttle and hang on for a fun ride! While the waves through the exit channel are only half of the size of the ocean's mighty waves, this gives me time to warm up and get in sync with the powerful 135 horse powered Waverunner. I am now ready to take on the Gulf of Mexico! I drive out far enough to stay out of the foamy white surf. Suddenly, the ocean begins to crest around me. As I drive into the waves, I am careful to only depress the throttle to a maximum of half power. Any more would be foolish and could cause a wipeout. I approach a wave with a perfect peak and at the ideal time. I gently squeeze the throttle and the loud roar of the engine fills my ears as the power pushes me up to the foamy white crest of the wave. In an instant, I am no longer floating on the water, but I am soaring like the beautiful white birds through the misty air. In one brief moment, I look down and estimate that I am eight to ten feet in the air for a split second before I begin my descent back to the briny waters. In a flash the back end of the Waverunner sits down into the ocean with the front following in a rocking motion. All around me is a fine spray of the salty water. I have landed! Salt and sweat mix to run down my face and into my mouth. I swallow some of the brackish Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. A Perfect Summer At The Beach A Perfect Summer at the Beach The sun peeked through my bedroom window; time to get up! The day was warm and gorgeous. It was the perfect weather to go to the beach. I woke up early and prepare our breakfast, so we can eat first before we leave. I can smell the eggs and bacon sizzling in a pan. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee makes my day complete. The pancake oozing with butter and maple syrup is ready to serve. I also prepare a fresh squeezed orange juice for the kids. When I was cooking everybody is starting to wake up. We are planning to go to the Narragansett beach with thefamily. Everything is all packed and ready to go. The kids are very excited; they help me to organize all the stuff that we needed since last night. After we eat our breakfast the kids immediately go to their bedroom and change for their cutest swimwear attire. While my fiancГ© and I started to pack everything in the car. We arrive on time at my father–in–law's house. As we expected my sister–in–law Kylie is late again. She never been on time whenever we have a family gathering. The funny part is she is the one who suggested that we should meet in my father–in–law's house around 9:30 in the morning but she never made it on time. While we are waiting, I finally had a glimpse of my father–in–law's apartment; it was nice, simple, and neat. I noticed how blissful he was when he is giving me a tour of his house. He showed me his bedroom with a flat screen television, the living room with a nice and cozy Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Personal Narrative Essay : A Trip To The Beach It's a very warm typical July day. There is a big hurricane in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. I can guarantee that there are so many people going to the beach. After Joey thought that he grabbed his necklace off his nightstand and put it around his neck and held the cross for a few seconds more than he usually does everyday. "Cole let's go to the beach, the waves are like 7 to 8 feet!" Joey exclaimed to Cole over the text. Joey rode his bike over to Cole's house. "Joey I'm asking my dad to drive us to the beach I don't want to ride my bike." Joey looks at the waves and gets scared. "Dude, where are we going to put our things it's packed?" Cole unpacked the bags with the boards in them. Joey and Cole went to the shore to get their fins and fin socks on. Joey got his fins on first and started to paddle out. The current was insane. Cole was following Joey out to where the waves were starting to form. Joey got a nice wave and had a barrel. The current was so strong that Joey had an idea. His idea was to go on the right side of the jetty and tried to get pulled to the left and land where everyone else is. Cole told him before they went to the beach because he knew that there was a current. It was not a good idea because if a wave came, he could get smashed into it. Joey was not acting smart, so he decided to not listen to Cole. Joey walked over to the left side of the jetty. "Cole are you, coming?" Joey exclaimed. Cole just ignored Joey. • 14. My First Day At The Beach Essay My first swim without safety armbands '' Wake up, wake up you lazy kids'' my mum said, ''we are going to the beach". My sister, my two brothers, and I woke with extreme energy, happy because it was the first time we visit the beach that summer. The day dawned bright, the sky was painted in bright blue; the beautiful sun was gleaming and shining gloriously. It was idyllic for a picnic by the sea. We quickly packed our stuff, we took some snacks and swimming outfits, and of course chair decks; we took a fast breakfast, and then we headed to the beach. I was very excited because it was my first summer without the safety armbands. However, I knew that it was going to be a bit of scary and risky but not as much what happened with me, it was like the first day at school....show more content... The waves became higher and stronger. They started to pull my small body further and further in the sea away from the shoreline. They were not that peaceful as I thought. The beastly waves were endless; they were hitting my face and my little body from everywhere. I had my heart in my mouth. The waves were pulling my small fragile body to the deep–sea world. I was losing the ability to swim, and I started swallowing salty water that burned my throat (turned my throat on fire). I was weak as a kitten. No one could see me. I was struggling for my life. I was screaming and shouting for help but no one could hear me. I was in the middle of the empty. I watched in despair my life fading away from me. I was filled with dread because I was too small to die, and I wanted to see my family again. For a moment, I was convinced that I will not have the opportunity to discover the adventures of life. The sorrowful good–byes of life continued for several minutes before a lifeguard sent from heaven saved me. He put me on his shoulders, and swam all the way back to the shore. It took us few minutes to get there. When I saw my mom I hugged her and I started to bawl like a Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. Descriptive Essay On The Beach I walked along the beach. As I was walking I could feel the fresh smell of the beach like it was an air freshener but it also smelled that gave me a tingle in my nose. As I kept walking along the beach I could feel the light breeze coming against me. This fresh air felt warm as I felt like I was sleeping in a comfortable bed. I kept walking in the beach, as I did it felt like an escape to all my problems and also my stress. Beach felt like a solution to all my problems and could be open with anything. As I stroll along, I could feel the soft smooth sand under my feet. The sand was very hot and I walked through it felt like I was walking on a burning grill. The sand was mixed with a different coloured shells. The light from the sun shined on the shell which reflected onto me creating a rainbow. My foot was making marks on the beach as I took every step, these marks remained there until the water came and erased it away. As I kept walking, I looked around and it felt like I was having the best time of life. The bright shining sun went through my cold skin and give me a feeling of excitement. When I kept walking I could see the birds roaming around the sky like a pack of wolves making irritating squeaky noises as it is hungry and trying to find its prey. The sky turned from dark blue sky to a bright shimmery blue sky. Soft, fluffy big clouds were covering the sky, as it started to split away. As it split away, the sun restored and shined on the waves and the cold water started boiling. As these waves dashed, the noises soothed me every time. I began walking towards the beach and I stopped at the edge of the beach where I decided to put my toes in the water. As soon as my toes in the water I got this light shiver in my body, where I felt like it touched my soul. I could feel softness when the water covers my leg. At this time, I could remember the time when I used to play with sand and water. I decide to come close to the beach and I could hear fishes screaming frightened of their preys that is looking to eat them. These birds have been trying to find their lunch as they are hungry for it. I can see the dolphins jumping around with a smile on their life. It feels like they having the best time of their life, as Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Descriptive Essay : A Trip To The Beach They way I see things, life is different at the beach. Time doesn't move hour to hour, but moment to moment. We live by the whipping currents, play by the ever changing tides, and follow the direction of the yellow globe in the sky. In my experience, trips to the beach never fail to make my heart giddy and rid my life of any obstacles, at least temporarily. For me, looking out at the never–ending ocean is like looking through a special pair of glasses. I see the world with a different point of view. Everything seems peaceful and serene; nothing is too troubled and no one too anxious. A trip to the beach will completely overwhelm your senses. What do I get most anxious about when I go to the beach? Sprinting, tearing, racing to the ocean. Regarding nothing but the crystal blue, balmy, water and feeling pure contentment. But in my rush to get to the water, my care for the sights around me seem to slip my mind. I glance around, and at first sight one might see a few teenagers on summer break, in their Nemo colored swimsuits and shameless black sunglasses, gamboling around and bubbling with joy. You might see the few mothers daring enough to bring their giggling toddlers, in bright bubblegum pink hats that match the shade of their sweet, sunburnt, little, cheeks. Look around a little bit more. Open your eyes a little wider. Skim the surface of the water topped with chalky white foam and teeming with meager, little creatures of the sea whose shells spiral around like a staircase in the most grand of castles for the most grand of princesses. Watch the thick, waterlogged sand castles crash against the cozy, pristine sand beneath your feet. Scan the sky and take a minute to notice the alabaster white seagulls that cackle above your head and cheat french fries out of the hands of awestruck tourists. Stare out at the mysterious crashing waves and take note of the ash colored pelicans flinging themselves into the water with a splash and reappearing with an outstretched beak full of terrified fish. Now inch forward into the icy water. Feel the rush of the waves as they try to sweep you into the ocean. Try to stay balanced as the sand teams up with them and races out from beneath your feet. Close your eyes and let the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Descriptive Essay On The Beach Clean Up The majority of the things I did involved trash clean up. Me and my friends all went to these different venues, or rather locations and helped with the cleanup cause. What happened as we go there we had to put on gloves, we were provided plastic bags as well as these hooks which we used to pick up trash from the ground. For three hours we looked around the beaches or parks where we were stitone at and gathered trash. While this may sound very boring to begin with, the whole experience was very soothing as the general walks across the ocean front, along with my friends, make everything a lot more soothing. This was only for the beach clean up, for other activities like the planting different plants I felt more productive in that situation. According to the people there, they said that there was a certain type of caterpillar who were going there. These caterpillars needed these specific flowers to setup a cocoon and be ready for blooming into a butterfly in the spring. I thought this was much more interesting than the regular beach clean up due to the fact that in this situation we actually helped an endangered species from the overcrowding of a invasive species that was halting its growth. With a further prospering of the plants the butterflies can further live on and will be one step further away from endangerment. Biology is the study of life. Everything i did the during my service hours involve me interacting with the environment in fear for your life around me. In biology we learned about how different things interact in environment, while I was at the beach I saw how the caterpillars kind of codependent on the plans that we are planting this was life. Moreover, we saw how we calculated in the environment or the region interacted with the plans. Also wish I had the invasive species, were interrupting the growth of the plants that the caterpillars were depended upon. While in the semester, the only plant related things that we learned about the plant cells in photosynthesis, we just learned about the different trophic levels. We learned about how with each level you go up or down vice versa you either gain or lose the lot of energy that was in the previous tropical lov while in the semester, the only plant Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. Descriptive Essay : A Day At The Beach A day at the beach It was a rainy day and all I could do was stare at the clouds pass by through the window. Ever since I had surgery on my thigh all I could do was stay inside. The blank walls in the hospital has consumed me completely. All I wanted to do was spend a day at the beach like I used to. Looking at the ranges of blue spread out around the horizon. Saw water run against the sand, the salty air and brightly lit sun. An empty beach, the perfect time to enjoy the water under the sun. The ocean breeze which I haven't felt in a long time could bring back the colors that I haven't seen in a while. It would make me feel healthier, having the cold water tickle my skin as I sit on the rough sand. Inhaling the salty yet refreshing air around me. If only I could run into the water right now, have the cold water against my skin. Relaxing my tense body that's lying in this hospital bed. As soon as my feet touch the water, I know for a fact that my whole body would want to touch the water completely submerging myself in the water. The sensation of the water under the warm sun would be the greatest feeling yet. My legs began to move as I migrated to an area where my feet could not feel the rough sand. I know I would likely hold my breath and try to pretend I was a mermaid that could breathe under water. Noticing a school of fish that always pass by in the water. Their beautiful silver scales that attract the light from the sun that gives them a greenish Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. Descriptive Essay : A Day At The Beach As I stood there, on the beach, glancing at the ocean in awe of the beautiful sight, a sudden gust of wind blew past me. Each individual strand of my hair crossed my face, the sun played peek–a–boo as it made its appearance just above the horizon, as if it were too scared to show its' beautiful light. The smell of the sea filled my nose as I took in the fresh air. The sand was filled with corals, with a collection of many sea shells, all of which had their own uniqueness in shape, size and color; however, the sand felt like a bed full of soft comforters. The way the ice–cold water moved the sand and flowed onto my feet and between my toes, made my heart race. It was as soft and delicate as a newborn; the tiny grains of sand were so fine that it could not possibly be seen without a microscope. The waves sounded as if they were singing a soothing song to me, causing me to look back on all of my past memories and drawing me closer to them. They were inviting me in with their eternal arms, but my feet could not listen because the frigid waves penetrated my feet. It was as if I were stuck. My feet were planted, my feet would not move. It was as if they were frozen to the ground and could not possibly take a step, therefore, I sat down, watching the sun rise higher and higher, lighting up the beautiful morning sky. As the time gradually went by, the warm rays of sun glowed; with a cheerful, good morning, reaching down towards me and shining a beam of light towards Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 20. My Family Vacation To The Beach The time has finally come to embark on your family vacation to the beach, and it could not come any sooner. You've longed to feel the ocean breeze on your face and the sand between your toes for weeks now, and frankly, this vacation has been your motivating force throughout this past semester. The unendurable pain of term papers and lectures has barely impacted you, as you have spent basically the entirety of every class daydreaming about your ever–approaching trip. The warmth of the sun, the splashing of the waves, the bustle of the marina, the smell of the air – all of these features of the trip seem irresistible. However, it is imperative that you make sure to keep your head on straight. All of these pastimes look fun in the moment, but if you do not keep up with the most important task of the trip, you could suffer some consequences in the end. This task easily could make or break the whole vacation: putting on sunscreen. You don't want to return home covered in blisters, bumps, and boiling pain, so do the right thing. Putting on sunscreen is a good deed, so you better slather on the good stuff now, or you'll get burned later. Despite the excitement of indulging in a week full of seashells and coconuts, a lot of ways to potentially muddy the crystal clear waters of your caribbean getaway come to the surface. Did everyone remember their swim trunks and flip flops, and did the plants get watered and the cats fed? What if someone gets injured, or what if it rains all week? Get more content on HelpWriting.net
