4. हे ढग मुख्यतः हहम स्फहटकांचे बनलेले
असतात. यांचे वगीकरण ससरस,
ससरोक्युम्युलस आणण ससरोस्रेटस या
प्रकारामध्ये के ले जाते.

particles. They can be classified into
cirrus, cirrocumulus and cirrostratus.

5. कसे ओळखावे? / HOW TO RECOGNISE?
ससरस हे मुख्यतः तंतुमय असतात.
ससरोक्युम्युलस या ढगांचे स्वरूप लहान लहान
लाटांच्या समुदायांसारखे हदसते. ससरोस्रेटस हे
वळ्या पडलेल्या चादरीसारखे हदसतात.
यांच्याभोवती बरेचदा तेजोमंडल असते.
Cirrus clouds are mainly wispy. Cirro-Cumulus
clouds look like groups of small waves.
Cirrostratus are like a bedsheet with wrinkles.
They generally have a halo around them.

10. यात अल्टोक्युम्युलस व अल्टोस्रेटस या ढगांचा समावेश
होतो. अल्टोक्युम्युलस हे स्तरांच्या स्वरूपात असून
यातही तरंगासारखी रचना असते. बहुधा हे पांढऱ्या रंगाचे
असून त्यात करड्या रंगाच्या छटा असतात. अल्रो
स्रेटस ढग हे कमी जाडीचे थर असतात. यातून
सूययदशयन होऊ शकते, मात्र सूययदशयन हे दुधी काचेतून
पाहहल्यासारखे हदसते.
These include alto-cumulus and altostratus. Alto-
cumules are in the form of layers and have a wave-like
structure. They are mostly white in colour and have a
grey shade. Altostratus are not very thick. The sun can
be seen through them as if seen through a milky glass.

तरंगासारखी रचना असते. बहुधा हे पांढऱ्या रंगाचे

15. यात पाच वेगवेगळे प्रकार के ले जातात.
स्रॅटोक्युम्युलस या ढगात थर असतात. ननम्बोस्रेटस
हे ढग जाड थरांचे असतात. गडद राखाडी रंगाचे
असून यापासून ररमणिम पाऊस तसेच हहमवर्ायव
होऊ शकतो.
These consist of five types of clouds. Strato-
cumulus have layers. They are ash coloured and
their base is uniform. Nimbo-stratus has thick
layers. They are grey- -ash in colour and cause
continuous rainfall and even snowfall.

16. त्यांचा रंग पांढरा ते धुरकट असा असतो. यात
ढगांचे अनेक गोलाकार पुंजके आढळतात. स्रेटस
ढगात देखील थर असतात. यांचा रंग राखाडी
असतो व तळाकडील भाग एकसमान असतो.

मीटर उंचीच्या दरम्यान उभा
ववस्तार असणारे हे ढग आहेत.
हवेच्या जोरदार उध्वयगामी
प्रवाहांचा या ढगांच्या
ननसमयतीस हातभार लागतो. हे
ढग अवाढव्य असून घुमटाकार
असतात. ते करड्या रंगाचे
असतात. क्युम्युलस ढग हे
आल्हाददायक हवेचे ननदशयक
असतात. या ढगांचा काही
वेळेस उभा ववस्तार इतका
वाढतो की त्यांचे
क्युम्युलोननम्बस ढगांमध्ये
रूपांतर होते व वृष्टी होते.
क्युम्युलस (Cumulus)
These clouds are formed
extensively from 500 m to
6000 m altitude. The vertical
flow of the air adds to the
formation of these clouds.
These are huge and dome-
shaped. They are grey in
colour. Cumulus clouds are an
indicator of pleasant weather.
The vertical expanse of these
clouds increases so much that
they turn into cumulonimbus
clouds and bring rain

These are characterstic clouds which are indicators
of thunderstorm. These look like huge mountains.
These are dense and dark in colour. There is thunder
accompanied by lightening. They bring rain with
storm and may sometime bring hailstones. But such a
type of rain does not last long.
हे वैसशष््यपूणय ढग वादळाचे ननदशयक आहेत. ते ढग काळ्या
रंगाचे व घनदाट असून ते पवयतकाय हदसतात. ढगांच्या
माथ्याजवळील भाग ऐरणीसारखा सपाट हदसतो. या ढगांत
गडगडाट होतो, तसेच ववजाही चमकतात. वादळी पावसासह
कधीकधी गारपीटही होते; पण हा पाऊस फार काळ हटकत नाही.

Cloud Burst is sudden heavy rain falling over a short
period of time over a small area.Cloud burst effects
the humans following way:
1. Causes flash floods resulting in loss of animal life
2. Loss of flaura due to unwanted water supply
3. Soil erosion due to abudant water.
4. Large volume of water, can cause landslides.
5. Damage to the infra structures like houses,
bridges etc.

25. ढगफु टी व त्ांचे पररणार्
लघु क्षेत्रावर कर्ी कालावधीत र्ेघ ववस्फोट हणजेच
अचानक जोरदार पावसाचा वर्ामव होतो त्ास ढगफु टी
म्हणतात. ढगफु टी र्नुष्ांना खालील प्रकारे प्रभावी
ठरते.
1. वीज पडल््ार्ुळे वन््जीवांचे नुकसान होते.
2. अर््ामद पाण््ाची नासाडी होते.
3. अ्ोग्् पाण््ार्ुळे र्ातीची धूप होणे.
4. घरे, पूल अशा पा्ाभूत संरचनांना हानी पोहोचते.
5. पाण््ाच््ा जोरार्ुळे र्ोठ््ा प्रर्ाणावर भूस्खलन होऊ
शकते.
