CM (1:3) 12mm thick in two coats using bonding admixture
Arresting of Leakage in Roof Slab :
Thin concrete 40mm to 50mm thick with R.C.C (1:1½:3) using 6mm to 12mm
chips with nominal reinforcement (4mm thick weld mesh (1”x 2”)), considering
stability of existing roof slab.
Slope of 1:80 shall be maintained to drain off rain water.
Top finishing shall be done on the same day i.e., when concrete is green and
thread lines shall be formed at 450mm intervals.

7. Providing new Rain Water Pipes :
Rain water down pipes shall be fixed on terrace floor using 110mm (4”) diameter
PVC pipe with Bend at top and shoe at bottom (make finolex/supreme/sudhakar).
The PVC pipe shall be fixed on wooden cleats which are fastened to the wall at
1.00mm interval.
Ensure proper finishing of pipe joint at slab level
8. Construction of Ramp :
Ramp with a slope of not more than 1 in 10 may be constructed preferably 1 in 15
to 1 in 20 subject to availability of site/ as per site condition
Ramps shall be surfaced with approved non slipping materials.
Hand rails shall be provided on both sides of ramp.
9. Construction of Steps :
Damaged steps shall be re constructed with Masonry/stone masonry/C.C Brick
masonry) with tread of 350mm and rise of 150mm.
Polished Kadapa slabs/Tandur slabs/Machine cut Granite slabs may be laid over
steps and for rise portions.

10. Construction of Pathways (Foot Paths) :
Pathway’s from main gate to class rooms block and from class rooms to toilet blocks
shall be provided to avoid sticking of mud to foot of the students during rainy season.
The width of Pathway’s (Foot Path’s) shall be 1.80 mtrs with kerb wall on either side.
The pathways shall be laid with Interlocking tiles of 80 mm thick laid sand bed.
11. Repairs to Door & windows (Replacement / Repairs):
Wherever replacement of Doors & windows are essential as per site condition new
doors & windows may be proposed with wood or mild steel. In case of wood frame size
shall be 100mmX75mm (finished size )for Doors & windows with flush shutters of
35mm thick (Ravella ISI/ Green ply/Duro) and in case of MS Doors and windows good
quality mild steel shall be used (Tata/Jindal) with CR Sheet of 18 gauge and horizontal
square bars shall be with 12mm at 100mm c/c.
Anodized Aluminum fixtures (Make – Jyothi) shall be provided for wooden doors &
windows.
23. 7. Black Boards (Green glassy Chalk boards) :
Requirement depending on class rooms
e-3 ceramic magnetic green chalk board of size 10ftX4ft with vitreous enamel
coated sheet made of 0.3mm to 0.40mm thick steel sheet having 0.095mm
tick on top and back supported with 9mm thick MDF Board having density of
750kg/m3 AND laminated with 0.25mm thick electro galvanized steel sheet at
back fixed in deluxe quality Aluminum channels of ISI Standards.
