On 11th
December, 2014 wewent to High Flyer Schooland College Zulfiqarabad
Gilgit. We wereassigned a task to collect information on usage of ICT, its effects,
impacts, and implications on effective learning. Formally we have to write a
reporton ICTtools. So when we arrived the principal of the schoolallotted a
cooperating teacher for our help. We informher about our task and she told us
that there wasn’tany ITlab in school though few computers werepresent in the
schoolbut due to shortageof rooms they haven’t having any ITlab. This was one
of the important issues that in this modern world that very college is suffering
fromlack of ICTand it would affect learning of students in many ways. For
example:
Lack of ICTaffect students learning in many ways like this is modern world
and having no any information about ICTmay lead them to backwardness
and they may not be able compete with this modern world.
Lack of ICTaffect teaching as well, if teachers are unable to access ICTthey
may not teach in effective way.
Students will be unable to learn the new technological skills and
information necessary to preparing our students as nation builders.
In this modern age no any studentcan progress withoutinvolving ICTin his
education.
Lack of ICTresources would lead to be unable to get advantageof ICT.
ICTis being used in mostof the professions so itis impossibleto get a good
job without having and knowing the information about ICT.

2. Suggestions:
Every educational institution musthave ITlab for students so that they
have access to internet to have an effective learning.
It’s necessary to foster their technological skills which would be helpful
for their careers.
Conclusion:
So after knowing the importance of ICTno one can deny the importance
and necessity of ICTand without ICTstudent’s progress would notbe
possibleand they may not compete with this modern world. -
