1. Harvey R. Plante
Harvey Plante has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held senior
level positions in banking and consulting services. He delivers experience and leadership in areas of
financial technology solutions, risk and compliance management, banking operations and loss-share
administration.
Mr. Plante joined Deloitte’s Advisory Financial Technology practice as a senior manager in 2012. He is
the product manager for the Solvas|ALLL+™, a software solution for the allowance for loan and lease
losses (ALLL) that helps financial institutions with PD/LGD modeling and estimating credit losses. Mr.
Plante is leading the effort to develop Deloitte’s Solvas™ solution for the current expected credit loss
(CECL) model. He also manages client relationships that utilize Solvas|LDC™, a financial software
solutions to support the accounting and administration of bank acquisitions and purchased loan
portfolios. As a leader in loss-share reporting and administration, Mr. Plante has led client
engagements to provide advisory services to banks with FDIC-assisted acquisitions.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Mr. Plante was president and CEO of Verities Strategies Group, Inc. (VSG), a
management consulting firm specializing in loss-share administration services and technology
solutions. He customized loss-share advisory services and developed proprietary software tools to
assist financial institutions with the reporting and administration requirements related to FDIC-assisted
acquisitions. Since 2010, Mr. Plante has managed a professional online loss-share group to enable
discussions on solutions and best practices within the loss-share community.
Prior to VSG, Mr. Plante was a senior vice president at a management consulting firm and devoted 10
years within the firm’s project management office. Mr. Plante led critical system conversions,
outsourcing and integration assessments and new product implementations for banking and
brokerage institutions. Mr. Plante’s experience in banking and risk management began as an examiner
for a bank regulatory body, which transitioned into key roles in banking operations and internal audit,
and then evolved into senior positions in risk management and financial operations at a large financial
institution.
A native of New York City, Mr. Plante earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia University.
