PDHPE is an important part of the primary school curriculum because it promotes physical activity, encourages understanding of self and others, and teaches students how to make healthy lifestyle choices. Through activities like dance, sports, gymnastics and games, PDHPE helps students develop communication, decision making, problem solving and interaction skills while building them physically, socially and emotionally.
